SECTION VI – HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Possible effects of overexposure and the procedures for treatment: May cause irritation.

FIRST AID:
Eye Contact - Contact with eyes if painful and irritating. Flush eyes with water
for at least 15 minutes.
Skin Contact- Prolonged or repeated contact with skin causes irritation. Wash
off skin with water. Remove contaminated clothing and clean
before reuse.
Ingestion- If swallowed, consult a physician immediately.
Inhalation- Mist caused by manufacturing operations irritates nasal passages.
Prolonged inhalation of vapors or mist causes nausea, loss of
motor skills, and disorientation. If vapors or mist cause irritation
or distress, go to fresh air. Give oxygen or apply artificial
respiration if needed.

Chronic effects and medical conditions aggravated by overexposure to this chemical have not
been established. Unnecessary overexposure to this product, or any chemical, should be avoided
where possible. If any symptoms persist, consult a physician immediately.

Carcinogenic: This product is not considered a carcinogen by OSHA, NTP, or IARC.

Please contain all spills and leaks to prevent discharge into the environment. Prevent electrical
sparking. Ventilate area.
SECTION VII – SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Eye Protection: Wear full-face shield or goggles when handling.
Protective Gloves: Use impervious gloves.
Respiratory Protection: If vapors are present, use MIOSH or MSH approved respirator
for ammoniacal vapors, air-line respirator, or a self-contained
breathing apparatus.
Ventilation: Use ventilation adequate to keep hazardous ingredients below
their TLV1 (See Section II).
Other Protective Equipment: Wear protective clothing to prevent repeated or prolonged
contact. An eye wash station and safety shower should be in the
work area.

Handling and Storage: Store in cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with aluminum, brass,
copper, black iron, or plain steel.

Other Precautions: Spilled material is slippery. Wash thoroughly after handling. If ingested, call
a physician.

Small spills: Soak up with absorbent, shovel into waste containers, and flush area with water.

Large spills: Recover liquid for reprocessing or disposal.
