About 21 Artists: Past projects, 21 Artists: Chicago Loop and 21 Artists: London Blackfriars, have featured an incredible mix of artists from around the world, from hip hop MCs and architects to performance artists and experimental dance groups, all around this general philosophy: 21 Artists features artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, implementing artistic interventions in alternative spaces to celebrate the creative process, collaborate and explore ways that artists, communities and visionaries can work together to revitalise communities and under-utilised spaces. About Canning Town Caravanserai: The partner for 21 Artists: London Deep East is an outdoor, community space operating under this premise: Canning Town Caravanserai is a welcoming oasis hosted by locals, open to all visitors. It is a locally-driven public space bringing together trade, training, performance, a community garden, and a place to eat, drink and play. Mixing caf with art workshops, food stalls with performance spaces, and enterprise units with allotments, it will be hosted by locals and open to all. In short, a community space run by the community.
