About AFAA??? In July 1978, representatives of the advertising associations of ten Asian countries (including Australia, Hong Kong, Israel, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Pakistan, The Philippines and Singapore) in a unanimous decision agreed to set up the Asian Federation of Advertising Association. This came about as a result of the labors of a working committee which has formed at the 10 th Asian Advertising Congress held in Sydney in 1976. AFAA now includes 16 members who are the countries or areas in Asia: Vietnam, Japan, India, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, Taipei (China), Bang Lades, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Hong Kong (China), Mongolia and The Philippines. AFAA helps to connect and coordinate the members in establishing a lot of socially strategy advertising campaigns, which also promotes the development of the Asian Advertising industry in a more modern and professional way. Some others activities (big events) that are co-established by AFAA: AdFest: annually in March, in Thailand APMF: biannually in Indonesia

Objectives: Unify all the Asian associations involved in the various aspects of advertising. Upgrade standards, ethics, and practices of advertising and to bring a more meaningful contribution from advertising activities to both regional and national socio-economic development. Setting up the necessary mechanism for Asian Advertising Congresses.

Foster self-regulation. Device and implement educational programs.

About VAA??? The Vietnamese Advertising Association was established in 2001 with the mission of uniting, assisting and protecting the legal interests of its members. The VAA is the regular members of AFAA since 2007 and an Organizational Member of the International Advertising Association. The VAA is tasked by the Vietnam Government.

About AdAsia??? AdAsia is biannually taken place in the members countries. From 1958 up to now, there have been totally 27 congresses. AdAsia gathers many famous representatives as well as a number of CEOs of many communicating and advertising corporations, investors, managers, philosophers in Asia and all over the world. In Southern culture, Crane is the symbol of nobleness, luck and hope. The picture of the crane standing on the back of the turtle in many church and pagoda is the harmony of the universe. In Japanese legend, if you can fold 1000 paper cranes or someone else fold 1000 paper cranes for you, one wish will come true. From above meanings, the logo describes a crane looking back its wings to renew itself, to become more beautiful, colorful and energetic. This logo generates the meaning that: re-engineering the communicating and advertising activities is a self activity, total change regardless of hurting. However, this will finally bring a miraculous ending.
