Mark 1 21 Jesus and his disciples came to the town of Capernaum, and on the next Sabbath Jesus went to the synagogue and began to teach. 22 The people who heard him were amazed at the way he taught, for he wasn't like the teachers of the Law; instead, he taught with authority. How important is the death of Christ for us? 1. 1 Corinthians 5 21 Christ was without sin, but for our sake God made him share our sin in order that in union with him we might share the righteousness of God. What does Paul tell us about Jesus? What is the major difference between Christ and us? What does Paul mean when he says that we might share the righteousness of God? 2. Read Romans 3:10-12, and 3:23. What words Paul keeps using the same words repeatedly? Who is he talking about? Does this include us? 3. Read John 3:16-18. Jesus says that there are two kinds of people in the world. Who are they? 4. Read 1 John 5:11-12. What has God promised us? What is eternal life? How can you know if you have eternal life? 5. In order to be a Christian, you must decide to follow Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. That means that you need to consider each of the questions asked in theses verses about who Jesus Christ is, what his mission is, and to become his disciple. Have you thought about these questions?
