Position Description (2): Full Time Post Graduate Job - Staff Attorney position in DNA's Farmington NM office, providing civil legal services to low-income clients, including domestic relations, landlord-tenant, consumer, public benefits, employment and other cases. Many clients are Native American, with cases in NM state court and in tribal court. Legal Internship - We have internship positions available in 8 of our 9 offices throughout northern AZ and northwestern NM. Interns do the same work that attorneys do, under attorney supervision: interview new clients; research; draft advice letters; draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs; and attend court with the attorneys. May represent clients in administrative cases, such as SSI. DNA provides civil legal services to low-income clients, including domestic relations, landlord-tenant, consumer, public benefits, employment, and other issues, in state and tribal courts.

Position Description: Legal intern - The intern assists with substantive legal matters in conjunction with the Staff Attorney / Resources Director. Specifically, these responsibilities include managing and updating the NACC's National Children's Law and Advocacy Resource Center, responding to resource requests, handling referrals, conducting research, writing case summaries for The Guardian, and assisting with various special projects.
Position Description: Law Clerk - The Colorado Office of Administrative Courts has a law student clerkship program that provides students with experience in the judicial decision-making process. Law clerks are generally assigned to 3 or 4 judges for a period of time, and may rotate assignments to work with 6 or more judges during the course of a clerkship. Law clerks are extensively involved in the judges' work, attending hearings and assisting in drafting factual findings and legal conclusions. Clerks also prepare memoranda on complex issues of law. The clerkship program exposes students to a wide variety of administrative law issues handled by the Office, including professional and occupational licensing, public benefits, mediation and workers' compensation. The Program functions in coordination with the Law School Internship Office and the clerks pursue academic credit in these non-paid positions (2-6 hours with a norm of 3 hours). Senior Judge

Position Description: Legal interns will be expected to conduct legal research, draft legal briefs and motions, create training materials for appropriate agencies in the criminal justice system, attend court proceedings with RMvlc attorneys, and provide assistance for law enforcement and victim advocates. The Legal Center for People with Disabilities and Older People
Office Description: The Legal Center is an independent public interest non-profit specializing in civil rights and discrimination issues. We protect the human, civil and legal rights of people with mental and physical disabilities, people with HIV, and older people throughout Colorado. The Legal Center's primary goal is to open up the legal system to those who would otherwise be unable to voice their needs.

Position Description: Internship / Externship - The United States Environmental Protection Agency Mobile Source Enforcement Branch / The legal intern or extern would work on projects such as assisting United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Mobile Source Enforcement Branch (MSEB) attorneys with the development of administrative and civil judicial fuels cases. The EPA MSEB enforces the motor vehicle fuels provisions of Title II of the Clean Air Act (CAA or Act) and regulations promulgated thereunder at 40 C.F.R. Parts 79 and 80. These provisions include certain requirements and prohibitions regarding the quality of motor vehicle fuels and are designed to reduce harmful emissions from all motor vehicles including passenger cars, light trucks and heavy duty trucks. These provisions apply to both gasoline and diesel fuel and they apply to all parties in the distribution system. / In addition, transportation fuel sold in the U.S. must contain a minimum volume of renewable fuel to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the use of petroleum fuels. Renewable fuel producers and importers generate renewable identification number (RINs) for each gallon of renewable fuel. Refiners and importers must acquire RINs to show compliance with the standard. EPA investigates and pursues enforcement actions against anyone generating, transferring and using invalid RINs. / / Also, the CAA regulates new and in-use U.S.
flagged marine diesel engines, vessels containing such engines, emissions from such engines, as well as the sulfur content of marine fuel. The EPAs strategy to address emissions from all ships that affect U.S. air quality includes enforcement of CAA standards, as well as implementation and enforcement of the international standards for marine engines and their fuels contained in Annex VI to the International Convention on the Prevention of Pollution from Ships under the authority of the Act to Prevent Pollution from Ships. The EPA enforces all of the provisions described above through environmental audits and inspections (including sampling and testing of fuels), and through various recordkeeping and reporting requirements. The EPA may seek civil penalties or injunctive relief (remediation of the violations and projects to offset illegal emissions) for violations of the Act or regulations, and may bring actions in federal district court or administrative actions.
