The KASUGA Earth Leakage Relays EM series are to be installed on low voltage AC networks. They are used for personal, fire and motor protection. In case of an insulation fault, higher than the preselected ELC (A) threshold, the relay initiates the opening of the circuit-breaker or contactor after the preselected time delay TIME(S), if required. The KASUGA Earth Leakage Relays are incorporated with a separate exchangeable Zero Phase Current Transformer to meet the specification.

Special Features of KASUGA Earth Leakage Relays EM Series

> A manually test button is provided for checking the relay operation. > Build-in delay timer with 7 sensitivity adjustments range from 0 to 0.5 sec. for all models and 0 to 0.25 sec. for EM322. > Adjustable current input setting from 0.03 to 3 Amps except for EM312 and EM332 which can be set from 0.03 to 10 Amps and 0.5 to 30 Amps respectively. > One change-over contact is provided for all models except for EM313 with an extra Alarm contact. > Can be easily installed on symmetrical DIN rails or flush or panel mounted. > Specially made transparent plastic cover for sealing of the setting knob. > A Red LED is provided to indicate the status of the Relay. > The Relay is tested according to JIS C 8371 which is protected from radiating electromagnetic wave such as radio signal with frequency range from 130 MHz to 180 MHz (VHF) and 400 MHz to 500 MHz (UHF).
