October 29, 2013 New all time highs for the S&P 500 and Dow Transports.

The decline in yield on the US Treasury 10-Year remains stalled at my annual pivot at 2.476% with the 50-day SMA at 2.730%. The yield on the US Treasury 30-Year bond is still between my monthly pivot at 3.628% and quarterly risky level is 3.487%. The weekly chart shows the 10-Year yield below its fiveweek MMA at 2.615% and on the cusp of its 200-week SMA at 2.505%. The weekly chart shows the 30-year yield below its five-week MMA at 3.671 and is just below its 200-week SMA at 3.619%. 10-Year Note (2.518) Weekly and semiannual value levels are 2.584 and 3.227 with my annual pivot at 2.476, and daily, quarterly and annual risky levels at 2.415, 2.252 and 1.981. Comex gold has a positive but overbought daily chart with the precious metal above its 50-day SMA at $1342.2 with the 200-day SMA at $1432.3. The weekly chart shifts to positive on a weekly close above its five-week MMA at $1332.6 with the 200-week SMA is $1479.6. Crude oil tested its 200-day SMA at $98.69 on Mondays rebound as the daily chart remains oversold. The weekly chart is negative but oversold with its five-week MMA at $101.79 and the 200-week SMA at $91.58. The euro vs. the dollar is above its 50-day and 200-day SMAs at $1.3465 and 1.3213 with Fridays 52week high at 1.3832. The weekly chart remains positive but overbought with the five-week MMA at 1.3587 and the 200-week SMA at 1.3325. Comex Gold ($1353.0) Weekly and monthly value levels are $1266.6 and $1145.2 with daily, quarterly and annual risky levels at $1390.6, $1435.6, $1599.9 and $1852.1. Nymex Crude Oil ($98.62) My daily value level is $95.27 with a weekly pivot at $98.62 with monthly, semiannual, quarterly and annual risky levels at $99.84, $109.84, $114.36 and $115.23. The Euro (1.3786) Annual, quarterly and semiannual value levels are 1.3257, 1.2805, 1.2756 and 1.2477 with a weekly pivot at 1.3870 and daily and annual risky levels at 1.3977 and 1.4295. The daily chart for the Dow Industrial Average remains positive but overbought with the 50-day SMA at 15,186.27 and its Sept. 18 all time high at 15,709.59. The S&P 500 is positive but overbought with its 50-day SMA at 1689.37 and its Oct. 28 all time high at 1764.99. The Nasdaq is positive but overbought with its 50-day SMA at 3749.46 and its multi-year high at 3961.10 set on Oct. 25. The Dow Transportation Average is positive but overbought with its 50-day SMA at 6588.46 and its Oct. 28 all time high at 7060.87. The Russell 2000 is positive but overbought with its 50-day SMA at 1064.01 and its all time high at 1121.92 set on Oct. 25.

The weekly chart for Dow Industrials is positive with its five-week MMA at 15,366.13. The weekly chart for the S&P 500 is positive but overbought with its five-week MMA at 1719.91. The weekly chart for the Nasdaq stays positive but overbought with its five-week MMA at 3827.40 as momentum remains well above 80.00 at 94.79. The weekly chart for Dow Transports is positive but overbought with its fiveweek MMA at 6759.19. The weekly chart for the Russell 2000 remains positive but overbought with its five-week MMA at 1087.38 as momentum remains above 80.00 and 93.93. The major equity averages remain in a wide zone of risky levels, except Dow Industrials. This weeks risky levels are 15,825 Dow Industrials, 1789.2 S&P 500, 4041 Nasdaq, 7148 Dow Transports and 1154.13 Russell 2000. Semiannual and quarterly risky levels are 16,490 and 16,775 Dow Industrials, 1853.8 S&P 500, 4025 Nasdaq, 7104 and 7205 Dow Transports and 1163.21 Russell 2000. Semiannual pivots are 1743.5 S&P 500, 3759 Nasdaq and 1089.42 Russell 2000. My annual value levels remain at 12,696 Dow Industrials, 1348.3 S&P 500, 2806 Nasdaq, 5469 Dow Transports, and 809.54 Russell 2000. Daily Dow: (15,569) Semiannual and annual value levels are 14,724 and 12,696 with a daily pivot at 15,573, the Sept. 18 all time high at 15,709.59, and weekly, semiannual and quarterly risky levels at 15,825, 16,490 and 16,775. S&P 500 (1760.3) Semiannual and annual value levels are 1606.9, 1400.7 and 1348.3 with a semiannual pivot at 1743.5, the Oct. 28 all time high at 1764.99, and daily, weekly and quarterly risky levels at 1779.3, 1789.2 and 1853.8. NASDAQ (3940) Semiannual and annual value levels are 3759, 3668 and 2806 with the Oct. 25 multi-year high at 3961.10, and daily, weekly and quarterly risky levels at 4002, 4041 and 4025. NASDAQ 100 (NDX) (3383) Semiannual and annual value levels are 3304 and 2463 with the Oct. 25 multi-year high at 3400.04, and daily, weekly and quarterly risky levels at 3439, 3452 and 3477. Dow Transports (7036) Annual value levels are 5925 and 5469 with the Oct. 28 all time high at 7060.87, and daily, weekly, semiannual and quarterly risky levels at 7133, 7148, 7104 and 7205. Russell 2000 (1115.07) Semiannual and annual value levels are 1089.42, 860.25 and 809.54 with the Oct. 25 all time high at 1121.92, and daily, weekly and quarterly risky levels at 1135.00, 1154.13 and 1163.21. The SOX (499.49) My annual value level is 338.03 with the Oct. 22 multi-year high at 508.75, and daily, weekly, quarterly and semiannual risky level at 499.80, 529.28, 514.87 and 533.56. Dow Utilities: (504.86) Weekly and semiannual value levels are 499.61 and 481.92 with daily, quarterly, semiannual and annual risky levels at 514.29, 520.55, 523.33 and 540.37.
