Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research,
and how specifically would you go about it?:
The following would be three areas I'd focus on improving.

1. Openness and Accessibility of Government. Through simple measures, Council can
____________________________________________________________________________________
improve resident involvement. I'd work to broadcast council meetings,
____________________________________________________________________________________
hold monthly town hall meetings, update ward residents by email and twitter and integrate
____________________________________________________________________________________
council member e-mail addresses to the City server.

2. Community Events. Bay Village is an excellent city with residents that take advantage
___________________________________________________________________________________
of our small businesses and family events. I think we need more opportunities for
___________________________________________________________________________________

families to spend time together in Bay Village. I would propose regular events like
____________________________________________________________________________________
food parks, farmers' markets and "Buy in Bay" weekends. The food park would be food
trucks with various cuisine parked in one of our parking lots to take place once a month.

This would improve the food choices for residents and bring residents together to enjoy
____________________________________________________________________________________
the city. A farmers' market would draw Bay residents and others to our city to patronize
____________________________________________________________________________________
our
businesses. The "Buy in Bay" weekend would be a coordinated effort for residents
____________________________________________________________________________________
to buy Bay Village business products and services to continue to strengthen our business
____________________________________________________________________________________
community.

3. Volunteer Network for Veterans and Seniors. I'd work to make a network of volunteer
____________________________________________________________________________________
residents
to utilize their business networks to help returning veterans transition home after
____________________________________________________________________________________
serving our country. I'd also request volunteers to assist our seniors in clearing their driveways in the winter
____________________________________________________________________________________
Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you? and leaves in the fall. These tasks are small
but very significant to our residents.

Utilizing my experience as a family man, attorney and pizza shop owner, I am committed to asking tough

each decision I make, I will only vote after asking tough questions and being convinced that each action is

the best interest of Bay Village residents. Although I will be the final decision-maker for legislative issues

affecting
Ward 2, I expect to receive input and ideas from my neighbors and other residents of Bay Village.

there is citizen involvement in local government, it inherently ensures the greatest benefit to all
