NAVSEA SEAPORT Functional Area Quality Planning

The Team QSSI Program Manager, in cooperation with the respective Functional Area Team Leads will create an overarching Quality Management Plan comprised of Functional Area and T su!"plans# $ach su!"plan will detail the content provided !elow# Description of Operations - Provides a description of Functional Area of operations, its mission and purpose# %e measure tas& order or service 'uality to determine how effectively they meet the intended (A)S$A mission# Organization and Responsibilities - Provides a description of the Functional Area responsi!ility to the (A)S$A rgani*ation# %e will measure tas& order or service 'uality to determine how effectively we address (A)S$A organi*ational responsi!ilities# Quality Objectives - Provides an overall high"level summary of (A)S$A Functional Area 'uality activities# The respective Functional Area Lead will promote 'uality within their Functional Area to these o!+ectives# Measurement Methods - Provides a detailed description of measurement methods used to 'ualitatively and 'uantitatively sample or record (A)S$A Functional Area 'uality related metrics# Analytical Procedures - Provides a detailed description of the process used to 'ualitatively and 'uantitatively analy*e, understand or determine the root cause of (A)S$A 'uality compliance or non" compliance# Data Reduction !alidation and Reporting - Provides a detailed description of the methods employed to 'ualitatively and 'uantitatively validate, process and report (A)S$A 'uality metric data# "nternal Quality #ontrol #hec$s - Provides a detailed description of 'uality control chec&s or sampling that ensure (A)S$A tas& order or service 'uality# This activity is different from the semi"annual 'uality assurance audit performed !y the QSSI ,orporate Quality Assurance Manager, which is a Quality Assurance function, not a Quality ,ontrol function# Quality Assurance Audits - Provides the detailed processes re'uired to support the semi"annual audit !y the QSSI ,orporate Quality Assurance Manager QA to assure the 'uality of the overall (A)S$A IT Support Services contract and identify opportunities for improvement# Preventive Actions - -etails Preventive Actions that support (A)S$A tas& order or service 'uality and cost savings# This section will receive updates from audits, change re'uests, non"compliance reports and other inputs more fre'uently than the rest of the plan# #orrective Actions - -etails ,orrective Actions that support (A)S$A tas& order or service 'uality and cost savings# This section will receive updates from audits, change re'uests, non"compliance reports, and other inputs more fre'uently than the rest of the plan#
