Program Focus & Objectives

Excellence in IIT-JEE : Emphasis on making the students imbibe the fundamental concepts of Science & Mathematics and on sharpening their analytical skills and parallel thinking process which makes them capable of creatively resolving complex and tricky problems by mere application of basic concepts for a quantum jump in their performance in IIT-JEE. Each student has the right strategy for himself/herself for TIME MANAGEMENT to ensure optimum output. This enables the students to excel not only in IIT-JEE, AIEEE, and other Engineering Entrance Exams but also in AIEEE, KVPY, Olympiads and XII Board Exams

Course Structure:
Entire course is divided into 5 phases. Right mix of classes, problem solving and doubt clearing sessions. Comprehensive & thoroughly revised study material Periodic tests on the latest JEE pattern.

Classroom contact hours of approx 650 hrs. i.e. 350 hrs. in XI & 300 hours in XII. However, the actual total input provided to the student is more than 820 hours which includes.

Classes shall generally be held three days a week, for four hours each time (except during vacations, during which the frequency of classes may increase). The classes are usually conducted after school hours i.e. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. XI Course shall be completed by December, 2012 / January, 2013. Depending upon the academic performance / excellence of the students in the previous phases the class XII course will start as soon as after the completion of class XI course. This enables all students to cope up well with the last months pressure of school besides giving adequate time for revision and consolidation of the knowledge and skills acquired at APEX and required for being successful in IIT-JEE.

One year class room program (For XII going Students) Intensive one-year course is designed for the 11th passed students preparing to write the competitive examination (IIT-JEE, AIEEE, SLEEE, etc.) for engineering courses. The course provides intensive training to the aspiring students to get prepared for their target examination in one year. The syllabus comprises of the basic subjects as Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. The syllabus is covered in intensive manner with efficient application of optimization techniques. The course is designed such that candidates must secure best percentage in respective 12th board examination as well.

Admission Criteria
Students who have appeared11th / passed 10th board examination are eligible for the admission. The student has to collect an enrollment form prior to admission and appear for the scholarship test, which is held on 11th April (Sunday) from 11.00 am to 02.00 pm. The test is based on the syllabus of the 9th and 10th Standard Science, Mathematics & Reasoning Ability. The test will be objective based in nature. After confirmation of the result the students can deposit the fee amount and start with the classes.

One year class room program (For XII Pass Students) The course is available for the 12th passed students securing 60 % or above in the 12th board examination. Course is programmed for exhaustive preparation to get through any engineering entrance examination (IIT-JEE, AIEEE, and SLEEE & BITSAT). The syllabus comprises of the basic subjects as Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics of 11th & 12th standards. The syllabus is covered in exhaustive manner. Three Year Class Room Program for IIT- JEE,2015 (For student presently in class IX going to class X) Right foundation at the right stage is the most important factor in the success of any student in exam and in life the APEX IIT / PMT foundation program is aimed at students studying in class X, who aspire to prepare for engineering / medical entrance in future. The program keeps the school curriculum as base ad further upgrades the students knowledge to meet the requirements of competitive exams. The program has been design in a way so as to develop orientation of the students as well as to motivate him to excel in competitive exams. IITs have restricted the no. of attempts for IIT-JEE. Students now just have two chances one just after the XII board exams and the second immediately in the next year. They should try to succeed in IIT-JEE in the first attempt itself and not take unnecessary pressure as uncertainty of ill-health or any accidents while appearing for the second & last attempt could be too risky. Best way is to start your JEE preparation from the beginning of class IX, but if you have not been able to do that it is prudent you start your preparation at the earliest. Three Year Classroom Program for IIT-JEE, for students who are presently in class X is the next best alternative.

Apex Talent Reward Exam - 2011 Apex is conducting Apex Talent Reward Exam (ATRE) 2011.In its second year of launch, this examination aims to enable the most deserving students to get to their goal of becoming an engineer or a doctor by providing them with free*coaching. ATRE 2011 will select 60 students from class X to give them this once in a life time opportunity. These students will get free* coaching from Apex worth 36 lacs. The examination will be held in two papers at Apex.
