Build Materials
*3/16th or 1/4 inch Foam board for the fuselage, wings and tail. You can use 6 mm Depron also but you will have to add extra support to it to make it more ridgid. About 2 20 X 30 inch sheets of board is needed. *About 2 regular size popsicle sticks. *1/16 galvanized steel on a roll (from a hardware store) or RC pushrods, about 16 inches are needed. OR you can use RC pushrods if you have them. *Hot glue(prefered) or 5 min epoxy. *Thick packing tape for control surface hinges. *About 5 12 inch wooden BBQ skewers. *About 5 inch peiece of 1/4 inch diameter wooden dowel. *A little dab of gumpshun .
Plane Requirements
*11.1V 1300 -1500mAh 20C Li-po. OR a 1300mah 14.8 4 cell li-po. *4300 KV brushless motor to fit in your ducted fan. *40 amp speed control. *64MM Ducted fan. *4, 9 gram servos.
Drill a hole here such that the 1/4 inch dowel rod fits snugg but is still able to rotate freely. It may help to use the actual dowel rod to help smooth out the hole for smooth rotation of the dowel. If its too stiff it will mut too much strain on your servo.
Set aileron deflection too 3/4 inch up and down measured here.
