**PRINT THIS PAGE FIRST** to check that the printed scale is correct. The black line below should be five inches long. If it measures to 5 inches then print the rest of the pages. If the black line does NOT measure to 5 inches make sure that Page Scaling is turned OFF in your printers setting box. *You will need to trim any side of a page that has the red guide lines. Just trim right up to the lines. These lines should match up exactly and will be 3 inches long.

Build Materials

*3/16th or 1/4 inch Foam board for the fuselage, wings and tail. You can use 6 mm Depron also but you will have to add extra support to it to make it more ridgid. About 2 20 X 30 inch sheets of board is needed. *About 2 regular size popsicle sticks. *1/16 galvanized steel on a roll (from a hardware store) or RC pushrods, about 16 inches are needed. OR you can use RC pushrods if you have them. *Hot glue(prefered) or 5 min epoxy. *Thick packing tape for control surface hinges. *About 5 12 inch wooden BBQ skewers. *About 5 inch peiece of 1/4 inch diameter wooden dowel. *A little dab of gumpshun .

Plane Requirements

*11.1V 1300 -1500mAh 20C Li-po. OR a 1300mah 14.8 4 cell li-po. *4300 KV brushless motor to fit in your ducted fan. *40 amp speed control. *64MM Ducted fan. *4, 9 gram servos.

Flying tail / elevator bushing supports

Drill a hole here such that the 1/4 inch dowel rod fits snugg but is still able to rotate freely. It may help to use the actual dowel rod to help smooth out the hole for smooth rotation of the dowel. If its too stiff it will mut too much strain on your servo.

Set aileron deflection too 3/4 inch up and down measured here.

Popsicle stick control horn template

Drill a hole here for the 1/4 inch dowel rod / elevator shaft to fit through. Because these wide popsicle sticks can be a little brittle its better to slightly oversize this hole for the shaft to slide through. Once its gluedto the shaft it will be totally solid. Hole for your adjustable pushrod connecter to screw into, about 1/16 . IMPORTANT NOTE....its important to keep the distance between these two holes
just as I have them here. Otherwise you may have too much or too little elevator control.
