In the context of information management, during the last year of my masters degree, I researched on Information Security in Healthcare. The Observatory revealed there is a limited security concern in managing patient information. With technology advancing at an alarming rate, new security information are being recorded daily. This information is essentially sitting, just waiting to be mined, for factual data to respond to the treatment of patients by healthcare practitioners. I would like to learn how the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the masses information are treated in respect for private life. I would be very happy to play a part as a volunteer as a trainer to impact knowledge and create the awareness in the healthcare delivery focusing on patient safety and privacy via information security.

To succeed in any goal, one has to put forth their best effort. My objective is to succeed in any task I attempt. My primary goal is to become a consultant, application developer, and independent research scientist applying problem solving technologies to make a difference in the lives of people who get involved with their plight. Developing myself with a PhD programme in Information Technology would be very useful to the health sector, Departments of Information Technology and the country at large because philosophy has taught me to evaluate life and my experience. Its through that that I hope to become an instrumental member of society, using all of my energies to bring about constructive change and create a path to the good life, not only for myself but also for others.
