Mando a Distancia USB Operations
The function icons are listed at the bottom of the menu are described as below:
1, Reutrn to home page: Press the OK button to return to DTV mode when it highlighted.
2, Play: Press the OK button to playback the above selected file.
3, Add to play list: Press the OK button to add the above selected file to the relevant play
list, fox example, MP3 file toAudio List, JPG file to Image List.
4, Play list: 3 options included: Audio List,lmage List,File List, you can enter to the
selected play list if it's not empty.
5, Select filter content: you can select filter as Audio,lmage,AII Types to get different
play list.
6, Play mode: Vou can select Play one, Play all, Shuffle, Repeat one, Repeat all, Repeat
shuffle.
7, Slide show with background music: Vou can select Play without music, Play from
current folder, Play from play lists to start playback JPG file with or without play MP3 file
in background.
This STB have a USB1.1 jack, you can playback MP3/JPEG files or upgrade the
software version via this USB port.
When you insert a USB disc with MP3/JPEG files, you can press the MENU button to

10) GOTO: Selecciona el punto de tiempo a partir del cual
reproducir un archivo grabado en el disco duro.
11) RECALL: Se utiliza para alternar los dos ltimos canales
seleccionados.
12) SUBTITLE: Se utiliza para alternar los diferentes subttulos
incluidos en el texto.
13) TEXT: Este botn abre la pgina de Teletexto, en caso de que
est disponible en el canal sintonizado.

Utilizado para operar diferentes funciones en la pgina de Teletexto

15) MUTE: Activa y desactiva el sonido.
16) AUDIO: Este botn configura la salida de sonido, estando

17) STANDBY: Enciende y apaga el aparato.
18) RECORD L1ST: Permite ver los programas grabados.
19) PAUSE: Pausa el visionado de un programa grabado.
20) PLAY: Utilizado para retomar la reproduccin en caso de que est detenida o
bien con la velocidad alterada (bsqueda rpida, cmara lenta, etc... ).
21) RETROCESO RAPIDO: Ajusta la velocidad de bsqueda rpida hacia atrs cuando
se est visionando un archivo grabado en el disco duro.
22) MENU: Abre el men principal.
23) CH+: Mueve el cursor en las pantallas de los mens y cambia de canal si no se est en el men.
24) VOL: Mueve el cursor en las pantallas de los mens y disminuye el volumen si no se est en el
men.
25) CH-: Mueve el cursor en las pantallas de los mens y cambia de canal si no se est en el men.
26) EPG: Muestra informacin acerca del programa que se est visionando y de la programacin de los
canales.
27) BOTONES NUMRICOS: Seleccionan el nmero de canal a visualizar, o bien introducen nmeros en
los mens.
28) INFO: Muestra informacin sobre el canal que se est visualizando o se amplia la informacin acerca
de un programa cuando se est en la pantalla EPG.
29) PVR INFO: Muestra la informacin sobre el tiempo, una barra de progreso y el estado de
reproduccin mientras se visualiza un archivo grabado en el disco duro.
30) TVI RADIO: Alterna entre los canales de TV y las emisoras de radio.
31) LANGUAGE: Alterna entre los diferentes idiomas de audio con los que se emite un programa.
Nota: Las funciones SUBTITLEI TEXTI LANGUAGE no estn disponibles en todos los canales.

Hard Disk Installation
Instalacin de las pilas
Quite la cubierta del compartimiento de pilas del mando a distancia e introduzca dos pilas de
tamao AAA en su interior. El diagrama dentro del compartimiento indica la posicin correcta de
las mismas.

wires are properly connected.
Uso del Mando a Distancia
Para usar el mando a distancia, dirjalo hacia la parte frontal del receptor. El mando a distancia
tiene un alcance mximo de 7 metros desde el receptor y un ngulo hasta 60 D. El mando a
distancia no funcionar si su alcance est bloqueado.
La luz solar o una luz muy intensa pueden disminuir la efectividad del mando a distancia!

The EPG menu is used to look at what is being broadcasted on a TV or Radio
channel later in the day.

Conexin a un sistema de sonido Surround 5. Booking List
The booking list is used to display all the booking events you

4. Favorite List
The favorite list is used to sto re your frequently watched channels without having
to search them in the Channel List or EPG menus.
To edit the favorite list, press the MENU button and select Favorite List using
the arrow keys , press the button when lt's highlighted.
Adding a Favorite Channel
First use the RED button to select a favorite group, the choices are News, Movie,
MTV, Finance and Other. Then press the button and button to enter the
pop up Add menu, select the channel you want to add to the specific favorite
group then press the button, the added channel will be displayed in the left
hand column. Repeat the same procedure until all your wanted channels have
been added to the specific favorite group. Follow the same procedure for each
group until all your favorite channels have been added to the favorite Iist.
Deleting a Favorite Channel
Follow the similar procedure of adding favorite channels, select the channel that
you want to delete in the favorite list menu using the or button,
press the and button to enter the pop up Delete menu, then press
the button to enter delete confirmation menu, press the button to
delete the selected channel from the favorite list and press the EXIT button to
cancel the delete.
Viewing a Favorite Channel
To access the favorite Iist quickly without edit, press the FAVORITEbutton
directly in non-menu state or other menus. Tochange the favorite group, press
the RED button. Select the wanted favorite channel using the or button,
press the. button to confirm when highlighted, now you can watch the selected
channel.

1.Encender el dispositivo por primera vez

Si quiere volver a realizar la bsqueda, siga los pasos siguientes:
Pulse el botn MEN en el mando a distancia, visualizar el men principal del receptor en la
pantalla.
Seleccioneel men 'CHANNELSETTING' (Configuracin de canales) con los botones
direccionalesdel mando a distancia. Pulse el botn cuando el men 'CHANNEL
SETTING' (Configuracinde canales) est resaltado.

There are three different settings available on your set top box. RGB S-video and CVBS. RGB
typically produces a superior colour result over CVBS and S-video although it may not be

If you are unsure which setting to use consult the manufacturer s user guide for your
television.

experience a washed out or a ghosted effect picture.

Change Pin Code
The Change Pin Code menu allows you to change the password, which is currently default
as 6666.
Enter you new PIN code using the numerieal buttons on the remote control.

3. Lista de Canales
Se usa la lista de canales para ver que se est emitiendo actualmente en un canal de
televisin o radio. Para entrar en la lista de canales, pulse el botn __ directamente
cuando no est dentro de un men.
Para editar la lista de canales, pulse el botn MENU y seleccione la Lista de Canales
(Channel List) utilizando los botones direccionales. Pulse el botn _ cuando est
resaltada la opcin deseada.

Puede impedir el acceso de otras personas a algunas cadenas con la opcin "Lock
channels". Marque el canal para bloquearlo o desbloquearlo con el botn o el botn

Se usa la lista de Favoritos para guardar sus canales de uso frecuente, sin tener que
buscarlos cada vez en los mens de Canal y EPG. Para entrar en la Lista de Favoritos, pulse
el botn MENU y seleccione la opcin correspondiente a mis favoritos (Favourite List) con
los botones direccionales. Una vez resaltada la lista, pulse el botn e y aparecer el

Aadir un Canal Favorito
Use el botn Rojo para seleccionar la categora del canal que desea usar. Tiene las
siguientes opciones: News (Noticias), Movie (Pelculas), MTV (Mscia), Finance (Finanzas) y
Other (otras). Luego pulse el botn yel botn e para entrar en el
men para aadir el canal. Seleccione el canal a aadir a una categora y ser aadido
en la columna izquierda. Repita el mismo procedimiento hasta que todas las cadenas
favoritas hayan sido aadidas a su categora correspondiente de favoritos.
Borrado de sus canales favoritos
Resalte el canal que desea borrar de la lista de favoritos con el botn db y el botn
. Pulse los botones y para entrar en el submen de borrado (Delete) y el botn
e para entrar en el men de confirmacin de borrado. Pulse de nuevo el botn e
para borrar el canal seleccionado de la lista de favoritos o el botn EXIT para cancelar el
borrado.
Visionado de sus canales favoritos
Para ver su canal favorito, pulse el botn "FAVORITE" directamente cuando no est en un
men. Seleccione la categora del canal deseado usando el botn Rojo. Luego resalte el
canal que desea ver mediante los botones y <::g:> Una vez seleccionado el canal, pulse
el botn e para confirmar y ver el canal.

Switching On for the First Time
Ensure all connections have been made following the diagrams onthe previous pages for
reference.
To switch on the set top box, press the button on the set top box.
(To turn the set top box to standby mode, press button on the remote control).
Switch on the TV and select the AV programme channel(EXT,AV, External Source, or similar).
Your set top box will automatically scan.
Scan finished will display for a moment on TV afier all station is found and automatically
stored. If you want to scan again, follow the procedure below:
Press MENU button on the remote control, the set top box main menu will display.
Select the Channel Setting menu by using the arrow buttons on the remote control.
Press the button when the Channel Setting menu is highlighted. Press button
again when Channel Search is highlighted.

El listado de avisos se utiliza para mostrar todos los avisos que se han marcado en el men
EPG o que han sido aadidos por el usuario manualmente. Se pueden establecer un
mximo de 15 avisos. El men de esta opcin es el siguiente:

Se mostrar la identificacin (ID) del aviso, la hora de inicio, la duracin, el propsito
(visualizacin o grabacin) de cada evento.
Para aadir un aviso manualmente, pulse el botn en el men del listado de avisos
(booking list). Se mostrar lo siguiente en pantalla:

El usuario puede cambiar la identificacin (ID) del aviso utilizando el botn para abrir un
nuevo aviso. Pulse el botn para seleccionar el canal del aviso. El tipo de aviso puede
ser nico (once), diario (daily) o semana (weekly); luego tienen que establecerse tiempos de
inicio y finalizacin del evento que sean vlidos, y especificar el propsito del aviso que
puede ser ver o grabar un canal. Tras realizar todas las selecciones pertinentes podr activar
el aviso, siempre que las selecciones sean vlidas, o de lo contrario aparecer en pantalla
un mensaje de error.

Instalacin del disco duro
Si instala un disco duro en la unidad para poder grabar, por favor siga estos pasos:
1.Apague la unidad, desenchfela y pngala cabeza abajo. Ver que hay una tapa
aguantada por cuatro tornillos en la parte inferior de la unidad. Deber desatornillarlos y
levantar la tapa para poder abrirla.

2.Ver dos cable en el interior de la unidad. Conecte su disco duro (de 80GB, 160GB o
cualquier otro tamao, siempre que el jumper del mismo est situado en posicin 'MASTER')
al cable de alimentacin hembra de cuatro clavijas, as como al cable plano ATAPI de 40
clavijas. Luego fije el disco duro a la tapa extrable de la unidad, y cierre dicha tapa (situando
as el disco duro en el interior de la unidad) atornillando los cuatro tornillos que haba
extrado precedentemente.

The remote control has a range of up to 7 metres from the set top box at an angle of up to 60
degrees.
The remote control will not operate if its path is blocked.
Q Sunlight or very bright light will decrease the sensitivity of the remate control.
3.Cuando termine con el montaje conecte la unidad a la TV y a la toma de antena, enchfela
y encindala siguiendo luego este procedimiento:
1)Pulse el botn OK en el mando a distancia para entrar en el men principal, luego
seleccione el men de configuracin del sistema (System Setting) pulsando de nuevo el
botn OK.
2)Utilizando los botones direccionales arriba y abajo resalte la opcin de configuracin PVR
(PVR Setting) y pulse OK para entrar en este submen.
3)Elija la opcin para formatear el disco duro (Format Hard Disk) y pulse el botn OK.
Aparecer una advertencia en pantalla. Pulse el botn OK y se le pedir que introduzca los
cuatro dgitos del cdigo Pin (el cdigo por defecto es 6666) para poder continuar. Tras
introducir el cdigo y pulsar el botn OK se formatear el disco duro y se reiniciar la unidad
en unos segundos.
4)Ahora podr utilizar el disco duro para grabar programas o ver emisiones con desfase
horario (funcin Time Shift).

Los iconos de funcin estn en la parte inferior del men. Encontrar los siguientes:
1.Volver a la pgina principal: Pulse el botn OK tras resaltar esta opcin y volver al modo
de TV digital.
2.Reproducir (Play): Pulse el botn OK en esta opcin y reproducir el archivo seleccionado.
3.Aadir a la lista de reproduccin: Pulse el botn OK en esta opcin para aadir el archivo
seleccionado a la lista de reproduccin; como por ejemplo un archivo MP3 a la lista de
reproduccin de audio, o un JPG a la lista de reproduccin de imgenes.
4.Lista de Reproduccin (Play List): Encontrar tres opciones de lista de reproduccin (Audio,
Imgenes y Archivos). Puede seleccionar una lista de reproduccin siempre y cuando no est
vaca.
5.Seleccionar filtro de contenidos: Puede seleccionar un filtrado de archivos de Audio, Imagen
o de todo tipo para obtener diferentes listas de reproduccin.
6.Modo de Reproduccin (Play Mode): Puede elegir entre reproducir un archivo (Play one),
reproducir todos los archivos (Play all), repetir un archivo (Repeat one), repetir todo (Repeat
all) y repetir aleatoriamente (Repeat shuffle).
7.visin secuenciada de imgenes (Slide Show) con msica de fondo: Se puede elegir entre
reproducir una secuencia de imgenes sin msica, desde la carpeta actual, o desde la lista

La unidad tiene una conexin USB 1.1 en el frontal, con la que podr reproducir archivos
MP31JPEG o actualizar la versin del firmware.
Cuando inserte un dispositivo USB con archivos MP31JPEG, puede pulsar el botn MENU
para entrar en el men principal de la unidad, utilizando los botones direccionales izquierdo y
derecho para resaltar la opcin de reproductor Media Playero Luego pulse el botn OK para
