ARTICLE XIX. CLOTHING ALLOW ANCE Section 1. A clothing allowance has been established for the membership funded by the Borough of Maywood. The value of this allowance shall be established annually as a part of the Fire Police Operating Budget. Criteria have been established for earning the allowance and were approved by the membership. These criteria follow below. Performance is tracked by the Captain. Moneys earned by the membership shall be distributed at the December meeting or the next meeting following the distribution of checks by the Borough. CRITERIA: Clothing allowance shall be for all active members at the time of disbursement. The period of coverage will be from October 1, of the previous year through September 30, of the current year. Based on ALARMS and DRILLS ONLYpersons who respond to a minimum of: 25% of ALARMS will receive 67% of the annual individual allowance, 15% of ALARMS will receive 50% of the annual individual allowance, 5% of ALARMS will receive 17% of the annual individual allowance, 50% of DRILLS will receive an additional 33% of the annual individual allowance, 25% of DRILLS will receive an additional 10% of the annual individual allowance. Council President Febre responded if every fire police m em ber achieved the required am ount of calls; each m em ber would receive a $50.00 increase in their clothing allowance. Page 10 of 21 5.
