Panhellenic Pulse
Affiliated Women:
Interested in Panhellenic?
November 10th, the current Panhellenic Council will be having interviews for the 20132014 slate. If you are interested in being on Panhellenic please fill out an application and give it to Matt Deeg. Applications are available on MyHanover. For me, being apart of the Panhellenic Council is a chance to find more meaning to my Greek involvement. Being on exec has helped me understand the system that my organization is a part of and it has helped me gain valuable leadership skills that I hope to bring back to my chapter. Kaitlin Knapp, VP of Public Relations

This past week, the Panhellenic Council got together and talked about what our letters mean to us. For this activity everyone wrote one word that describes their organization and what their letters mean to them.

My Letters in One Word

The consensus? That our letters have helped us all become better versions of ourselves and is a constant reminder of the values we hold dear and a continual challenge to go against the grain. We are a support system, we are all unique, we are all driven individuals, and we are Greek!

Kappa Alpha Theta

October was a busy month for Nu chapter. These girls initiated two new members into their sisterhood; they hosted a recruitment event, and celebrated their founders birthday with a Day of Service. Every year Theta honors their founder, Bettie Locke, with sisterhood through service. This year Nu went to Thornton Terrace Retirement Home for a day of relaxation, conversation, and some nail painting! #Service #Ritual

Chi Omega
It looks like Chi Omega has some royalty under their roof! Senior, Emilee Roberts, was voted Hanover Colleges newest Homecoming Queen! Chi Omega had a sisterhood event this month at Clifty Falls and elected their 2013-2014 Executive Board. We cant wait to see what great things these women will accomplish! #GreekPride #Leadership

Phi chapter is definitely showing off their strong sisterhood this month with sisterhood events galore! This month Alpha Delta Pi has hosted a self defense class for their sisters, a murder mystery party, and raised money for Ronald McDonald House with their most recent Poppin Tabs for Ronald philanthropy event. #Philanthropy #Sisterhood
