List of translations of the Quran

The first translation of the Qur'an was performed by Salman the Persian, who translated Surah al-Fatihah into the Persian language during the early 8th century.The first fully attested complete translation of the Qur'an was completed in Sindhi language in 884 in Alwar (currently known as Sindh, Pakistan) by the orders of Abdullah bin Umar bin Abdul Aziz on the request of the Hindu Raja Mehruk.
