Perkins EGS Download Release

General Information
We have made the following Perkins Electronic Governor and control Files (EGS) available to downloadable from the Perkins Secured internet. All users with an active CWS ID will be able to access this feature. EGS is a free of charge Download and requires no license https://customer.perkins.com/egsdownloads ECG - Fitted to the 400 Series. LCG1 - Fitted to the 1000/1100 Series. LCG2 - Fitted to 1000/1100 Series. DetCon - Fitted to 4000 Series. DCG/Pandaros Packager - Fitted to the 4000 Series. DC Desk - Fitted to 4000 Series.

Future EGS Releases

For all future EGS releases, you will need to either use the new EGS download site, or request EGS (TPCD 1539) in CD format using the online order form, referring to How to Order TIPSS Software shown below.

How to download Perkins EGS

NOTE: It is important that you are given Administrator rights to install EGS software 1 - Logon to www.perkins.com (CWS ID and password required) 2 - Select the TIPSS - The Integrated Product Support Solution Link 3 - Select the EGS icon 4 - Select the Download Button 5 - Select the file you would like to save or install 6 Depending on your Internet application, you may be given two options Run and/or Save

Select Save and download the selected EGS file to your desktop (only). When you are ready to install, double click the file to start the download and follow the on screen instructions, but only when you have administrator rights.

Select Run and the download will install the software directly onto your computer.

How to Order TIPSS Software

Dealers will be required to order copies through their Distributor. Any Distributor who does not have access to the Secured Internet must contact their Perkins Business Manager to order the software on CD.
