Alcatel-Lucent 7302/7330

INTELLIGENT SERVICES ACCESS MANAGER | RELEASE 4.2 (ETSI)

The Alcatel-Lucent 7302/7330 Intelligent Services Access Manager (ISAM) is a full-service, high-capacity access node, designed to deliver a superior service experience to all subscribers in DSL, GPON or point-to-point ber networks. ISAM 7302 and ISAM 7330 have exactly the same features, the only difference is size 7302 is a 16-slot platform and 7330 is an 8-slot platform.

The Alcatel-Lucent 7302/7330 ISAM Release 4.2 is the third-generation IP DSLAM for application-enabled access, which goes far beyond the rst generation (Internet access) and second generation (residential triple play access). It is designed to meet requirements of the third wave of broadband access evolution: Residential, mobile and business applications converge on a single IP/Ethernet/MPLS access platform Application and subscriber intelligence to extract more value from the network
Alcatel-Lucent 7302 ISAM

Operators are not locked in a certain technology, but can choose to deploy different options based on technoeconomics, local regulations or offered services. In addition, by having one unique platform, operators can benet from reduced CAPEX/OPEX (no need to invest in different dedicated platforms, reduced inventory, streamlined operations). For operators with ISAM 7302/7330 installed base, Release 4.2 will bring the possibility for smooth evolution to Next Generation Fiber Access, with lower CAPEX/OPEX investments. The ISAM Release 4.2 brings higher capacity and increased density line cards, serving more subscribers from one platform while providing high bandwidth throughput. It is the rst high-capacity DSL platform on the market, delivering up to 50 Mb/s per subscriber with the new high-capacity VDSL2 line card and controller. Bonding can increase the reach/rate even more.

Mass-market FTTx that deliver 50 Mb/s and beyond The Alcatel-Lucent 7302/7330 ISAM platform enables service providers to deploy any service, any deployment model, and any technology. The availability of point-to-point, GPON and DSL access technologies on the same platform gives full exibility to operators to deploy access technology that best ts their deployment scenarios.

Alcatel-Lucent 7330 ISAM

The 7302 ISAM has FSAN standardscompliant GPON implementation with 2.5 Gb/s bandwidth, 20 km (12.4 mile) reach, ONT Management and Control Interface (OMCI), and the most robust QoS for triple play services. It integrates smoothly with legacy voice and RF video networks and enables service providers to address specic customers and applications in point-to-point congurations, thereby allowing growth of new service revenue. The Alcatel-Lucent 7302 ISAM is a true green access platform. The GPON implementation passive in its nature delivers cost savings that can result in between 40 percent and 60 percent lower OPEX compared with existing copper networks. Additionally, the 7302 ISAM supports the rst green DSL technology on the market, delivering up to 25 percent power savings on ADSLx and VDSL2. Green technologies include new energy-efcient line cards, and L2 power mode and MaxSNRM stabilized with Smart DSL resulting in the rst deployable L2/MaxSNRM solutions on the market.
