Res"onsible !or: Supervise and facilitate Medical Officers and other health staff in carrying out health service delivery related activities. Supervise and facilitate pro ect team in carrying our health education awareness sessions in the target communities. Mange timely and !uality delivery of pro ect outputs as well as financial management of the pro ect as per approved "udget. #evelop financial and narrative reports for donors. #evelop and implement health program strategy that answers health needs of disaster affected communities. Participate in the development of new health pro ect activities and proposals for addressing "oth emergency relief and recovery needs of disaster affected communities. $etworking with other line agencies, %$ agencies, $&Os and I$&Os working in health sector. Maintain close, regular and consistent colla"oration with other 'eams on communications. Improve field level communication and e(ternal communication) increasing visi"ility.

Major Res"onsibilities1

'o supervise the implementation and management of agriculture component of food security pro ect under the direct supervision2assistance of the Pro ect Manager. 3ork closely with the *ood Security Pro ect Manager for compliance with #onor re!uirements. #evelop work plans and carry out regular monitoring visits to the pro ect sites, follow up on implementation plans and provide technical assistance on timely "asis. 3ork closely with the Social Mo"ilizer and give technical input into the M40 *ramework for the pro ect. Organize a "asic orientation of Pro ect staff on *ood Security framework in a Post #isaster scenario. Organize comprehensive trainings for Pro ect staff, 5illage committees, "eneficiaries and vendors on delivery of agricultural inputs through 5oucher scheme. Support, monitor and supervise the designing and conducting diverse trainings for farmers on effective horticulture and orchard management. Support, monitor and supervise selection of "eneficiaries, identification and prioritization of realistic needs of small farmers and delivery of inputs to them as per the criteria laid out in the pro ect documents. Support, monitor and supervise 6ash &rants distri"ution to farmers as per the criteria laid down in the pro ect document. #evelop and implement plan for follow+ups on inputs and grants given to the "eneficiaries to record immediate impact. 0nsure visi"ility of organization through the Pro ect in all coordination forums and meetings. 0nsure involvement of respective 7ine #epartments and #istrict Authorities in the implementation of the pro ect. &enerate timely reports on all trainings facilitated.

"ositions: #+ Major Res"onsibilities1 Planning of the social organization in consultation with the pro ect staff under the supervision of the Supervisor. #evelop complete understanding of the pro ect and its implementation strategy. Identify and selection of the targeted villages in each %6 as per set criteria "eing given "y the PM. Initial contact with the target communities for the introduction of the Pro ect and informing the communities of the social organization strategy of the Pro ect. 0sta"lish 5illage 6ommittees 956: in the targeted villages as per Standard Operating Procedures 9SOP:. Provide training of 56 mem"ers in the 6ommunity management skills such as record keeping etc. Maintain the record of the 56 "y the 56 mem"ers in the desired form. 6onduct door to door assessment and identification of the "eneficiaries for each component of the pro ect as per SOPs. *inalize the "eneficiaries through active involvement of the 56 mem"ers. ;egular field visits and conduct the community meetings fre!uently.

%nder the direct supervision of the Pro ect manager, you will perform community mo"ilization activities at community level in accordance with the culture and norms of the target population. ;esolve conflicts if faced during the pro ect implementation among the "eneficiaries on the pro ect activities through social conflict resolution process. Monitor all the pro ect activities "eing carried out "y the 56 mem"ers and will reflect them in their daily reports which will "e su"mitted to Pro ect Manager *ood Security. Act as "ridge "etween community mem"ers and the pro ect staff such as Agriculture Officer and Pro ect Manager. 6ollect data as re!uired "y the program as per formats "eing issued to them from time to time "y the management staff. -uild close partnership with the target communities through regular meetings with them on appropriate intervals. Inform community regarding the ,AP and complaint handling mechanism in detail and will facilitate the fi(ation of the 6omplaint -o( at some suita"le site in %6 as per consultation with the 56 mem"ers at %6 level. *acilitate the community in the nomination of the 56 mem"ers for any training and reach that list to the management staff. *acilitate the community to pass their complaints to the management staff in a transparent manner. Participate in weekly meetings of *ood Security team to discuss work plan and work related issues. Provide regular monthly reports to Pro ect Manager.

'(ills Re)&ired: *or the post of Social Mo"ilizer a degree from university in social sciences and having <+8 years= e(perience is considered necessary. 6ommunity mo"ilization and organization skills are pre+re!uisite for the post. 7ocals will "e preferred. >nowledge and e(perience of working in the pro ect area will "e considered a plus point.
