Dr. B A M Hospital , Byculla is calling for offers to supply following staff to work
in hospital on daily wages. The requirement of staff will last for one year.

The Staff required are :-


1) Staff Nurse :16
2) Lab Asst : 01
3) Radiographer : 03
4) Health Inspector : 06
5) Pharmacist : 03
6) Dietician : 01

I ) Staff Nurse :-
1) They will be required to do 8 hrs shift duties round the clock. The duty hours in
the hospital are 7 to 15 hours , 15 to 23 hours and 23 to 7.00 hours ( as required).
2) They will have to attend duties in their proper uniform and report to MD/ Byculla
/ CMS KYN .
3) Good working knowledge of Hindi and English is essential.
4) Nurses with experience of working in Operation Theatre, dialysis unit or ICU will
be preferred.
5) The agency will supply nurses on 7 days a week in all shifts. The responsibility of
giving scheduled Rest lies with the agency.
6) Engagement of substitute does not make a person eligible for permanent Rly
service Nurses will not get any Rly. Accommodation free pass/ PTO or medical
facilities.
7) Payment will be made to agency directly every month and it will be the
responsibility of agency to pay wages to the working staff.
8) If the agency fails to supply nurses for a particular shift the hospital will have a
right to engage another nurse from outside and amount paid to her will be
deducted from the payment made to the agency / This contract can be terminated
on 7 days notice on either side.
9) The agency will be held responsible if there is any loss due to breakage by
improper handling or theft during the working hours of contract nurse. The
agency should ensure that the staff referred by them is well mannered and the
agency should have Photo identity of the staff along with all necessary
information and complete address so that it will be useful in case of any mishap or
damages or thefts.
II) Lab. Asstt :
1) They will be required to do 8 hours shift duties round the clock. The duty hours
in the hospital are 7 to 15 hours, 15 to 23 hours and 23 to 7 hours ( as required).
2) They will have report to MD/ Byculla / CMS KYN.
3) The agency will supply Lab Asstt on 7 days a week and in all shifts the
responsibility of giving scheduled rest lies with the agency.
4) Engagement of substitute does not make a person eligible for permanent Rly
service Lab Asstt will not get any Rly. Accommodation free pass/ PTO or
medical facilities.
5) Payment will be made to the agency directly every month and it will be the
responsibility of agency to pay wages to the working staff.
6) If the agency fails to supply Lab.Asstt for a particular shift the hospital will have
a right to engage another Lab.Asstt from outside and amount paid to him will be
deducted from the payment made to the agency / This contract can be terminated
on 7 days notice on either side.
7) The agency will be held responsible if there is any loss due to breakage by

agency should ensure that the staff referred by them is well mannered and the

III) Radiographer :

1) They will be required to do 8 hours shift duties round the clock. The duty hours
in the hospital are 7 to 15 hours, 15 to 23 hours and 23 to 7 ; 00 hours ( as
required).
2) They will have report to MD/ Byculla / CMS KYN
3) Good working knowledge of Hindi and English.
4) Experience of working in large hospital will be preferred.
5) The agency will supply Radiographer 7 days a week. The responsibility of
giving Scheduled Rest will lies with the agency.
6) Engagement of substitute does not make a person eligible for permanent Rly
service Radiographer will not get any Rly. Accommodation free pass/ PTO or
medical facilities.
7) Payment will be made to agency directly every month and it will be the
responsibility of agency to pay wages to the working staff.
8) If the agency fails to supply Radiographer for a particular shift the hospital will
have a right to engage another Radiographer from outside and amount paid to her
will be deducted from the payment made to the agency / This contract can be
terminated on 7 days notice on either side.
9) The agency will be held responsible if there is any loss due to breakage by
improper handling or theft during the working hours of contract Radiographer.
The agency should ensure that the staff referred by them is well mannered and the
agency should have Photo identity of the staff alongwith all necessary information
and complete address so that it will be useful in case of any mishap or damages or
thefts.
IV ) Health Inspector :
1) They will be required to do 8 hours duty as per order of CMS/ KYN.
2) They will have to report CMS/ KYN.
3) The agency will supply Health Inspector on 7 days a week. The responsibility of
giving weekly rest will lies with the agency.
4) Engagement of substitute does not make a person eligible for permanent Rly
service H.I will not get any Rly. Accommodation free pass/ PTO or medical
facilities.
5) Payment will be made to agency directly every month and it will be the
responsibility of agency to pay wages to the working staff..
6) If the agency fails to supply Health Inspector for a particular shift the hospital will
have a right to engage another H.I from outside and amount paid to her will be
deducted from the payment made to the agency / This contract can be terminated
on 7 days notice on either side.
7) The agency will be held responsible if there is any loss due to breakage by
improper handling or theft during the working hours of contract nurse. The agency
should ensure that the staff referred by them is well mannered and the agency
should have Photo identity of the staff alongwith all necessary information and
complete address so that it will be useful in case of any mishap or damages or

V ) Pharmacist :-

1) They will be required to do 8 hours duty as per order of CMS/ KYN/MD Byculla.
2) They will have to report CMS/ KYN MD Byculla.
3) The agency will supply Pharmacist on 7 days a week. The responsibility of
giving weekly rest will lies with the agency.
4) Engagement of substitute does not make a person eligible for permanent Rly
service Pharmacist will not get any Rly. Accommodation free pass/ PTO or
medical facilities.
5) Payment will be made to agency directly every month and it will be the
responsibility of agency to pay wages to the working staff.
6) If the agency fails to supply Pharmacist for a particular shift the hospital will have
a right to engage another Pharmacist from outside and amount paid to her will be
deducted from the payment made to the agency / This contract can be terminated
on 7 days notice on either side.

weekly rest will lies with the agency.
4) Engagement of substitute does not make a person eligible for permanent Rly
service Dietician will not get any Rly. Accommodation free pass/ PTO or
medical facilities.
5) Payment will be made to agency directly every month and it will be the
responsibility of agency to pay wages to the working staff.
6) If the agency fails to supply Dietician for a particular shift the hospital will have
a right to engage another Dietician from outside and amount paid to her will be
deducted from the payment made to the agency / This contract can be terminated
on 7 days notice on either side.
7) The agency should have photograph and complete information about the address
of the person in case of any mishap or theft. The agency will be held responsible
if there is any loss due to breakage by improper handling or theft during the
working hours of contract nurse. The agency should ensure that the staff referred
by them is well mannered.

General:
1) Agency will have to enter in to an agreement with Railways.
2) The paramedical staff supplied will be the employee of agency.
3) Formal Interview of candidates will be held.
4) Representation of SC/ST & OBC categories should be insured as per extant
policy and guide lines.

Sealed Tenders in the prescribed form are invited on behalf of President


of India for supply of paramedical staff for Mumbai Division, Central
Railway in following categories shown in attached table. The
remuneration to be paid along with qualifications have also been shown
in the table. The requirement of staff is for a period of one year. EMR
Rs.62,000/- payable in favour of Sr.D.F.M., Mumbai CST in the form of
Demand Draft/Pay order/Cash deposit receipt with Chief Cashier,
Mumbai CST.

Last date of submission of offer to Medical Director’s office is up to 14.30


hrs on 8/6/09 and will be opened on the same day at 15.00hrs.

Terms and conditions are available in the form and may be obtained
from office of Medical Director’s Byculla from 11.00a.m. to 4.00 p.m on
all working days and upto 14.00 hrs on 8/6/09.
