How To Use This CD-ROM


Although the contents of this copyrighted CD-ROM cannot be altered, the Trainer should feel free to save a copy of any or all of these documents and make edits as necessary on your personal computer, leaving the CD-ROM intact as the original. Please do not provide a copy of the contents of this CD-ROM to any other individual or company without the express written permission of NFDA. Before you begin the training, you should print enough copies of all student documents to hand out to each student attending your class. Student Survey The student survey is provided so that the student can relay pertinent information to both you, the trainer, and to NFDA. The survey will help NFDA determine if the topic of information is of interest and if the trainer or the program needs improvement. It will also assist you, in determining the training areas that need improvement in order to provide better education to your employees. Please fax or mail a copy of all student surveys to NFDA at the contact information provided in this readme file. Trainers Report to NFDA NFDA would like to determine how this program is working for you and your company. In order to do that, we ask you, the instructor, to complete the information provided on the Trainers Report in Microsoft Excel. This information is directly inputted from the student entrance and exit exams. As you enter the numeric data, this sheet will automatically calculate the information. Please e-mail this report to NFDA at nfda@nfda-fastener.org.

Adobe Acrobat Reader Program


Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files on all major computer platforms, as well as fill in and submit Adobe PDF forms online. Adobe PDF is the open de facto standard for electronic document distribution worldwide. Adobe PDF is a universal file format that preserves all the fonts, formatting, graphics, and color of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. Adobe PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated, and printed exactly as intended by anyone with free Adobe Acrobat Reader software. You can convert any document to Adobe PDF using Adobe Acrobat software.
