Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

Peace is one of the ways God leads and guides us-we are lead forth with peace.

Isaiah 55:12, For you shall go out with joy and be lead forth with peace.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

Whatsoever things are true and honest, just, pure, lovely; whatsoever things are of a good report I will think on these things. Peace is the opposite of fear and confusion. When we feel afraid or confused, the Holy Spirit is giving us a red light. The red light in our spirit tells us to get still and find our peace before we decide what to do next. When we feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit we hear more clearly what He wants us to do. He always leads us with peace on the inside to do the right thing. Good things happen when we follow His leading; bad things happen when we jump ahead and make decisions based on our emotions or just what we want to do. Sometimes what we want and what is best for us are not the same thing. God loves us and can be trusted to lead us to do exactly what is right for us sometimes even giving us dreams to show us the way He would have us go. We learn to follow the peace He gives us by practicing in little things. Soon we will be good at hearing and feeling His peace on the inside and fear, fighting, and arguing will be far from us. Living with His peace is our choice; He will lead us. It is always our choice to obey.
