HOMEWORK TIME GCH GATEWAY CHILDREN'S HOME


GCH provides needful children with the essentials for living, including room and board as well as schooling. Presently, GATEWAY directly cares for 32 children (23 of whom are children of leper families from Gandhi Nagar Leper Colony in Gulbarga, Karnataka State). An additional 65 children come for help with their homework for three hours daily after school hours. Many of these attend Gateway Church on Sunday, pastored by Rev. Theresa. 15 kindergarten level children attend weekdays during the day only.

GATEWAY COMMUNITY BIBLE COLLEGE


GCBC is located on 1/2 acre of land in the southeast corner of a four-acre subdivision on the north side of Bangalore. The first group of students began June 2012. Curriculum for the two-year certificate program includes basics in teachers' training, community health, tailoring, cooking, gardening, typing, computer skills, spoken as well as written English, along with four Bible courses.

Upon graduation from World Evangelism Bible College & Seminary in Baton Rouge in 1991, Brother David served the Lord for five years in Jamaica, before transitioning to India in 1997. Sister Theresa was a Roman Catholic charismatic nun who served as a principal of schools and colleges for the Loreto Convent in India for 15 years. MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Through partnership, we are able to continue in the work God has called us to do. Thanks for all prayers and support as God continues to expand the ministry of GATEWAY in India. GATEWAY VISION
Gateway's Vision is to work toward the elevation and education of underprivileged children and young women in India to help them become productive Christian citizens in their respective communities. David and Theresa's work in Bangalore focuses on Gateway Children's Home for underprivileged children and Gateway Community Bible College for underprivileged young women.

PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The yearly budget for Gateway Children's Home is $19,200. The yearly budget for Gateway Community Bible College is $21,600. GCBC is equipped to hold 84 residential students, along with four classrooms, computer lab, library, quarters for staff and visitors, plus room for missions' teams (send us an email).
