FEASIBILITY, PLANNING, DESIGN AND FINANCIAL SERVICES FOR MULTI-STOREY RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX AT VIT CHENNAI CAMPUS

Introduction:
The feasibility studies stage considers the options for satisfying the client's needs, enabling the client to prepare a business case for the preferred option and deciding whether to proceed with the project. It is possible to make an outline planning application during this stage if the risk to the project of not receiving planning permission is high, or if delays in receiving planning permission would be problematic. MS project is designed to assist a project manager in developing a plan, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing the budget, and analyzing workloads, Cost Estimation can be done in feasibility report.

Objective: To prepare feasibility report, Planning, design and financial services for Multi-Storey Residential-cum-Commercial Building at vit campus site Chennai. Sub Activities: Survey and soil investigation Preparation of Feasibility Report and financial viability of Project. Master Plan and Conceptual Plan Design Development & tender Documents Invitation of Tenders and evaluation of Bids Detailed design & Construction drawings Top Supervision TIME SCHEDULE CONSULTANTS FEE STRUCTURE REMUNERATION OF SERVICES Complete Final Inspections

Methodology SEQUENCE of MS Project:1. Set overall project information: goals, scope, assumptions, start date, manager 2. Create a Base Calendar, assign it to the project and to the Gantt chart. 3. List tasks and milestones, estimate durations 4. Outline the project (create Summary Tasks) 5. Link the tasks 6. Assign resources 7. Evaluate and refine the project 8. Save a Baseline 9.
