ISTAT I300
High Accuracy Analogue Transducers

The ISTAT I300 range of analogue transducers is designed to meet the world market requirements of high accuracy and reliability with a stable output. Available in two compact case sizes of 55mm and 150mm wide, the transducers are supplied to meet the customers precise needs.

APPLICATIONS
Applications can be found in substations of electrical utilities and industry, for interfacing with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), building management systems, process control equipment and switchboard instrumentation. ISTAT I300 analogue transducers provide local and remote indication for precision electrical measurement and control when used with instruments, data loggers and SCADA systems.

> AC Mean Sensing Current and Voltage The 3CA current and 3VA voltage transducers will only require an external power supply if a biased 420mA output is required. These transducers require a full specification before manufacture can take place, these settings cannot be changed by the user. The 3CC and 3VC are triple versions and are housed in the larger 150mm case.

> AC True RMS Current and Voltage The 3CD current and 3VD rms voltage transducers can be supplied with either an ac or dc auxiliary power supply. These transducers require a full specification before manufacture can take place, these settings cannot be changed by the user. The 3CF and 3VF are triple versions and are housed in the larger 150mm case. The 3VX is a variant of the 3VD but is supplied with a suppressed characteristic.

> Tap Position Indication The 3DA indicates the tap position by measuring the tap resistance proportional to the actual tap position. The 3DA has a maximum of 33 taps. These transducers require a full specification before manufacture can take place, these settings cannot be changed by the user

> 3B DC/DC CONVERTER The 3B provides an isolated DC/DC power supply with the exception of the 3BG which is non isolated. The 3B is only designed for use with the ISTAT I300 transducer. The type and output voltage are: 3BA 3BB 3BC 24V dc 32V dc 48V dc 3BD 3BE 3BG 110V dc 125V dc 220/48V dc

ORDERING INFORMATION
> The ISTAT I300 model number comprises of 10 digits, the first 6 designates the basic type of transducer whilst the next 3 are specific to the customers precise configuration. The last digit is for design suffix.

> Tap Position Indication resistor box The 3EA is a resistor box that is used with the 3DA to show the position of the tap changer. Each case has 26 terminals and so a maximum of 25 resistors can be wired out.

> DC Voltage and current The 3DB voltage and 3DC current transducers measure DC values and convert them to a proportional DC analogue value. These transducers require a full specification before manufacture can take place, these settings cannot be changed by the user

ISTAT I300: comprehensive dc measurement range

> Resistance The 3DL (3-wire measurement) transducer measures a resistance value and converts this to a proportional DC analogue value. The 3DL is designed for use with PT100 temperature probes. These transducers require a full specification before manufacture can take place, these settings cannot be changed by the user.
