The pupils of East Green Primary School gathered in the school hall. After their Principal, Mrs Wong, had greeted them, she asked for everyone to be seated. It has come to my attention that some pupils have been dirtying our toilets in the canteen again! said Mrs Wong in a stern voice. Ive decided that every level will have their recess reduced by ten minutes until you show me that you know how to behave like responsible pupils of this school, warned Mrs Wong. After she had finished reprimanding the school, the pupils stood up class by class and made their way back to their classrooms. There goes our game of soccer. There wont be enough time for it, grumbled Tim to Bala.

The Rex family was going on a holiday to Taiwan. They joined the long queue of people and waited to board the plane. The whole family was feeling exhausted as it was a late night flight and they were all looking forward to sleeping onboard the plane. Stop it! Give it back to me! yelled Sally at her younger brother, Tom while they were in the queue. Tom, youve been misbehaving today and Im not going to put up with your nonsense anymore! Give the book back to your sisternow! boomed Mr Rex. Good evening. Could I take a look at your boarding passes, please? requested the lady at the boarding gate. After that, the family proceeded to board the plane and found their assigned seats. They buckled their seat belts and looked forward to the exciting trip ahead.

Sally had spent the last two hours at her favourite music store, Power Records. Her fathers 40th birthday was approaching and she wanted to buy him some Country Western music CDs. Excuse me, do you have the latest album by Harry Banks? Sally asked the salesgirl. Yes, we do. Its on the shelf labelled Country Western and you will find it under the letter B for Banks, came the salesgirls reply. Thank you. Youve been very helpful, replied Sally as she walked towards that shelf. Finally, the music CD she had been looking for was staring at her in the face. Sallys father loved Country Western music and his favourite singer was Harry Banks. Hence, she was confident that her father was going to be very thrilled with the gift that she had bought him. Sally picked up the CD and headed for the cashier.
