Introduction

Dreams are royal road to the Unconcious -Sigmund Freud

Dealing with human mind is a very complex issue. One never knows about the right track and the credibility of the explorer is often shaken , and that too upto his/her roots by the unexpected and yet to decipher functioning of mind. Nobody has ever been able to tell that how mind works or how its stimulus would be if put under certain situations or what would be its course of action . But certainly to some extent we can say that what goes inside the mind and how each individuals experiences help in the dynamic evolution of its functioning . Dreams are the by -product of an individuals mind.Sigmund Freud , with his scientific approach opened the door to the world of dreams and led the way where the unusual incomprehensible Dreams became a subject of scientifical research. Towards the end of the 19th century, Freud was able to concentrate his early works on Dream and conducted various experiments , where he used to listen to the dreams and observed their peculiarities, and tried to seek a logical pattern in them. With the introduction of Freudian mechanism , it was much easier to dig out the latent content , and the approach was able to find out profound functioning of dreams .Many dreams which appeared puzzling and diffused before , became more clear when considering freudian theories . Freud boldly claimed that the world of dream was crafted by the mind and were a mere representation of the psyche to fulfill the underlying wishes and repressed desires. And he based his findings on the fact that each time he was narrarated a dream, he collected dreamers associations to the individual elements of the dreams and then inferred implicit, underlying themes from the daily life, but were projected in a wide variety of forms, and each of them possessed an underlying wish fulfillment and its corresponding elements, playing as a driver of the dreams. Freud said that we were able to dream in such ways , because when we dream we get totally detached from the external stimuli. It is in this moment, where our mind starts to leaf through every event and image in the unconcious and intertwines them along the process, And this is where the role of Dream work starts and the process of dream work is therefore biased in favour of more acceptable representational elements and narratives.

The laboratory of all this processes happen to be the unconcious mind, which was also dissected according to the Freudian Model and proposed the way to the unconcious. The three elements The id, ego and the super-ego ,of which the unconcious comprises is the trajectory of the dreams and their manifest content .Moreover,it is the role playing factor of the humans personality , where each of them belonging to an individuals psyche stays in its territory , but sometimes they do cross over and lead to each others evolution . The power of observance of the unconcious and preserving the images is far much better than any other part of the brain, though actually the individual is ignorant about its continuous functioning , but makes its presence felt through the latent content of dreams and projections. According to Freud the unconcious has a dynamic aspect and it keeps adding and subtracting elements, which are representable and corresponds to the repressed desires and the wishes . As modern cognitive psychology has become more sophisticated and has begun to tackle issues of
emotion and motivation,it too has begun to consider the possibilitythat there are unconscious influences on conscious thoughts and actions ( Pg, 614, Evidence now,Freud and the Unconcious, Mick power)

Thus we are the creator and the controller of ourselves. The dreams and the Unconcious stand out to be our true guide, where we see reality as an illusion , and we take our Dreams and Unconcious as faux amis, ignoring to the fact that deep inside these ,manifestations , is our true personality, our real desires and wishes, longing to meet us some day.
