Security is one of the fastest growing areas in the IT

field. Security threats are increasing in number and
severity, and the supply/demand gap for qualified
IT security professionals is greater than that of any
other IT specialty. Even in a troubled economy, most
businesses have no option but to maintain (at least) or
increase their investment in cyber security. This course
provides an international, vendor neutral overview
that increases competency in system security, network
infrastructure, access control, and organizational
security. The course curriculum follows the objectives

on information obtained from a background check. If clinical
placement is denied, the student will be administratively
withdrawn from the course or Career Major.
Clinical pre-requisites are subject to change and will be reviewed
in detail during orientation session.

Days and times of clinical rotations and

These fiction writing courses are part of a

15-class series, Easy as ABC: Building Blocks of
Fiction, by published author, Debrah Morris. The
curriculum is designed to introduce elements
of creative writing in an accessible format and
encourage new writers to learn basic writing
skills while exploring individual creativity. The
instructors goal is to create a challenging but
non-threatening environment using easy-toassimilate lessons, energy-sparking exercises and
positive reinforcement to enable novice writers to
discover what they can do with the written word.
Following the introduction of topics, a practical
overview is provided. Students will participate
with the instructor to allow them to explore
needs and establish a foundation for upcoming
exercises. Students will be able to receive
feedback on their writing sample, if desired.
