Bachelors Program in Nutritional Sciences


Only program in Ontario taught in French and open to bilingual students. Includes general courses in psychology and communication and basic science as well as courses in areas specifically related to nutrition

Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences


The program offers an interdisciplinary approach to the basics of health science and to the multiple factors and interrelationships of illnesses whether of physical, psychosocial or environmental nature Graduates of this program possess the knowledge and skills to work as research assistants, health promotion specialists, health policy analysts and data administrators for the public, private and not-for-profit sectors

School of Human Kinetics


The Honours Bachelor in Human Kinetics program emphasizes the social sciences and humanities of human kinetics, thus focusing on the disciplines of sociology, psychology, pedagogy, leisure, and administration Students also gain an understanding of the basic bio-physical contributions to human movement. The School of Rehabilitation Sciences brings together three professional programs (Audiology/Speech-language pathology, Occupational therapy and Physiotherapy) in training bilingual healthcare professionals to meet the needs of francophone communities within the country's bilingual and multicultural context

Research at FHS involves many important aspects of health: Including women's health, health in the elderly, health needs of, Aboriginal health, physical activity and health, multiple interventions in population health, palliative care, rehabilitation and functional autonomy, health and technology, and evidencebased practice Affiliated with a number of university-linked research units such as the Childrens Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute, the lizabeth Bruyre Research Institute, the Community Health Research Unit, the Institute of Rehabilitation Research and Development, the Institute of Population Health.
