Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

Staying close to God by reading the Bible, praying, and going to church will help us feel His pull on our hearts all day wherever we go. Psalm 73:28, But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

I shall go out with joy and be lead forth with peace. Isaiah 55:12 Whatsoever things are true and honest, just, pure, lovely; whatsoever things are of a good report I will think on these things. Philippians 4:8 I will not be conformed to this world but I will be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Romans 12:2 God is a spirit and I must worship Him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

The Holy Spirit has his own powerful magnetic force working in us if we just learn to recognize it. The same way a magnet pulls a metal object to it, the Holy Sprit pulls and draws us to things He wants us to do, places He wants us to go, people he wants us to meet or bless, and other important choices in our lives! Just like a magnet has to get close enough to the objects to make them move, we need to be close to Jesus to feel the pull of His Spirit. It takes a lot of effort to pull away from God, but once you do you are on your own. If you realize you have made a mistake tell God and repent of any sin you have committed along the way. God is faithful to forgive you, cleanse you, and help you find your way back to the way He has planned for you to go.
