Congrats to EA Cygnus!
We are so proud to announce the USDF has confirmed our FEI gelding, EA Cygnus+//, has achieved a distinction only one other horse in the country has, earning a prestigious USDF Horse Performance Certificate at EVERY level of dressage. To earn a Performance Certificate at one level, the horse must achieve 10 scores above 60% from 4 different judges in a minimum of 4 different competitions and include 4 scores of the highest test of that level. Cygnus has achieved this distinction at ALL nine levels Training through Grand Prix a feat requiring more than 90 qualifying scores and making Cygnus only the second US dressage horse of any breed to earn this accolade and the first-ever Arabian. Cygnus is also the only Arabian to be awarded the Adequan/USDF Jr/Young Rider Grand Prix Horse of the Year. Cygnus has completed an astounding 72 USDF Grand Prix tests in his career, making him one of the top 50 dressage horses of all time for number of USDF Grand Prix scores. In fact, Cygnus has racked up more Grand Prix scores in US competition than any horse on the 2012 US Olympic Dressage team! What a testament to his longevity and the quality of the Arabian Sport Horse. Cyg, who is working better than ever, always gets to do as he wants and he still wants to be a Grand Prix horse. Both age 23, Mimi and Cygnus will continue their FEI partnership in the upcoming show season.

Quarter Horse Dressage? You bet!

We are busting our buttons at the achievements of Bobbi Bingeman and her beautiful AQHA mare, Sparkin Hot Jacke (Paq). In 2012 with both Mimi and Bobbi showing, Paq earned her Register of Merit in dressage and was the number one ranked QH in 1st level dressage according to the national AQHA Journal standings! We cant wait to see Paq step up to 2nd level this show season. If you are interested in exploring dressage Western, classical, or competitive with your QH, give us a call. We offer training for the beginner to FEI rider and would love to help expand your horizons.

PRTC Welcomes Mirai C!

PRTC welcomes our newest addition, Mirai C, from Catori Creek Arabians in CA! With double blankets and much attention, Mirai is adjusting very well to winter life in ND. Mirai, a 2010 black filly, not only has splendid Arabian type but also shows the natural uphill balance and elasticity of movement necessary for a dressage prospect. Mirai is already a Reserve National Champion Sport Horse In Hand winner. Her sire, the spectacular Mirage V+++// is a multiNational Champion and her dam Windsong Bey is a multi-National Champion producer. We are excited to start Mirais dressage training and one day, work her into our sport horse breeding program.

Stanley Family Update

Curt has recently acquired a flock of registered Dorset sheep 10 ewes and 1 ram. He has added these to his existing Dorset flock and lambing is already underway. Karla is studying options for PRTCs competition schedule, figuring out where we will go, when, and with which horses. Mimi said no! to winter and took 2 horses to the neighbors HEATED barn and indoor arena. What a luxury to know that you and the horses can work in comfort. Ross has joined the ND National Guard and leaves for basic training this fall.
