The Metalshield colour offer is not limited to what is shown within this colour chart. The colours shown approximate the AS2700-1996 colours and are as close as possible to the actual colour of the paint. When using tinted products ensure all bases have been tinted to the correct colour before use. It is recommended that all containers are boxed together before use to ensure colour consistency. The Metalshield Gutter and Fascia Touch-up colours approximate the Colorbond steel colours. For information on the Colorsteel colours available in spraypaks in New Zealand, please contact Dulux NZ Customer Service on 0800 800 424. There will be a significant variation in appearance between spray, brush or roller applied MIO coatings. This is because of the nature of MIO pigmentation and is unavoidable. MIO coatings should not be used as a finish coat where uniformity of appearance is required. These coatings are prone to marring due to the nature of the MIO pigmentation.

Note paint will dry darker compared to a wet sample and may appear darker on larger areas. Shade variations may occur from product to product, as the gloss level varies and due to different application methods.

Dulux Protective Coatings supplies all these colours using lead and chromate free pigments. However while this provides obvious health and environmental benefits some red and yellow colours may exhibit less than required opacity in one coat. In these cases additional coats may be required to achieve the desired appearance.
