Autosys User Setup

This user required to run the job through autosys. Kevin Enslow or Site ops team (NIKE-B2C-OPS) will setup this autosys user.

Sudo root/root Access

Server owners should give sudo root/root access to Automation Engineering team, so that Automation Engineering team will install autosys client on new servers. For HP servers Site ops team (NIKE-B2C-OPS) will give sudo root/root access.

Firewall Port Rules

This is prerequisite for autosys agent installation Will get all these rules from Daniel Herrington and he is from Enterprise Operations and Automation team. Here it is the group id: Lst-ERS.AutoSysOperations@nike.com. Provide these rules to Site Ops Team (NIKE-B2C-OPS), so that they will work with HP team to install these firewall port rules.

Roles & Responsibilities

Automation Engineering: Resolve all autosys technical issues including WCC and Maintain autosys in all environments. ERS: Ensure batch coordination, release coordination related to autosys and maintain batch standards across Nike and conduct batch coordination meetings on weekly basis. Conduct autosys trainings periodically. Batch Coordinator: Design new batch design and also handles any changes in existing design. One point contact for Digital on any autosys related batch issues.

Autosys Agent Installation

Automation Engineering team will do this installation. But we need to create newscale ticket Type newscale in browser and search for Autosys and select AutoSys Client (UNIX) or AutoSys Client (Windows), fill out the details and submit. After that send an email to Automation Engineering team and also include newscale ticket number in the email Email Group for Automation Engineering: Lst-Automation.Engineering@exchange.nike.com

1. Project team has to create Kintana and provide job details to Batch Coordinator. 2. Batch team/Batch coordinator will review and prepare High Level Design(HLD), Low Level Design(LLD) and XML 3. Batch Team will submit the docs in QA 4. ACS will process the docs in QA 5. Once ACS processed the docs Batch team will inform to project team and project team will verify the job docs for correct details 6. QA Team will test in QA environment 7. Once QA passed batch team will submit the docs in PROD 8. ACS will process the docs in PROD 9. Once ACS processed docs in production then Batch coordinator will check with Project team for readiness on releasing the docs in production like setting jobs/Boxes to success so that they will run on schedule.
