Starting from a small shophouse on the bustling banks of the Singapore river, his uncompromising stance towards perfectionism garnered him many admirers. Over time, his clientele included the movers and shakers of the era. Royal patronage included King Chulalongkorn of Siam, Sultan Ibrahim of Johore, the Duke of Connaught, King Edward VII & Queen Victoria of Great Britain. Over the subsequent decades, his decedents have continued in his example. Today, we draw on a combination of classic techniques and craft, combined with the latest in technology to create pieces that can best symbolise the individual. Each piece is unique, with no effort spared to preserve the legacy of Balage Porolis de Silva. WITH EVERY GIFT, AN ASIAN STORY UNFOLDS isis was catapulted onto the world stage after perfecting the process of gold plating natural orchids in 1978. Since then, it has crafted collections of jewellery, sculpture and lifestyle products that wholeheartedly represent the different facets of a global city rooted in Asia. We are proud to say that Risis is a completely vertically integrated company, from concept, design, to manufacture and distribution, we pride ourselves on being able to control all aspects of the supply chain. This allows us the unique ability to keep a close eye on quality at all stages. Our contemporary jewellery collections underscore a deep pride in re-imagining an Asian heritage that is presented in a modern context. The sculptures dance on the line between classic and stylised, the former extremely detailed and realistic, and the latter, dynamic artistic expression. OUR DEDICATION TO FAMILY BUSINESS As one of the last family owned watch companies in Switzerland, it was our honor when we were asked to join the board despite our small stake in the wonderful brand. Our history with them goes back a long way, and like us, they are committed to protecting and harnessing the unique qualities of a family business. In 1875 Jules Louis Audemars, decided to join forces with Edward Auguste Piguet, in order to develop and craft watches equipped with complex mechanisms. Today, Audemars Piguet is still the oldest fine watch-making manufacturer never to have left

the hands of its founding families. This gives the company an independent streak that allows it to go its own way and follow its own unique vision. With the 140 year heritage of B.P. de Silva's presence in Asia, we hope to able to continue to contribute and preserve a brand that deserves all the recognition that it has achieved.
