Convened by Dave Fischbeck, Chairman ! Pledge by Jo Hammer! Prayer by Jim Volin!

Dave Fischbeck! He reported on a recent meeting of other tea parties in Arizona, which he attended. Vera Anderson, who replaced Courtney Snell as Arizona Tea Party Patriots president, invited all the tea party leaders in the state. Robert Graham, state Republican Party chairman ran the meeting ! He reported that of the 3 million voters in Arizona, 1.2 million are Republicans, 980,000 Democrats, 28,000 Libertarians, 26,000 Independents and a ver large number of non-party afliates, 780,000. The latter group is the one we need to focus on getting their votes! Chairman Graham said that the Republican party will support Republicans who win their primary contests. He hopes we give our support of Republican candidates in the general election. !

! ! ! !

Steve Allen, who will be reporting regular on whats happening in Mesa city government! Steve discussed the proposed Apple plant at Signal Butte and Elliott. Actually Apple will lease the building to one of its subcontractors. The previous owners were given tax concessions. All taxing entities have renewed the concessions with the exception of Gilbert School Board.! Bill Cunningham! He nished our years study of the American Tradition by Clarence Carson with the chapter on Internationalism. ! Some have said the America in the 1880s was isolationist. From the beginning of our Republic, trade was fostered with other nations. The Monroe Doctrine is that we will protect other republics in our hemisphere.Carson said that the word isolationist was an invective (verbal attack). ! When the Doctrine was enacted there were many stupid wars in Europe until World War I.! We were also Internationalists in the 1800s. We had trade relatiships with other countries. George Washington in his farewell address said we should fulll our agreements but not get entangled in other nations affairs. Be independent, avoid political involvement, have no permanent alliances, be impartial, remedy injuries, protects defensive force. ! We were not intervening in the the 1892, as we are now.!

! Proposed Study and Project for 2014 ! ! !

develop presentations so we can to teach the Constitution to our children and grandchildren and the younger generation. He will use three books to develop the curriculum: The Five Thousand Year Leap, The American Tradition and the Making of American. Lester Pearce suggested Grandpa, Can you Tell Us a Story which was created by the National Center for Constitutional Studies (NCCS) created in their Freedom Digest. Lester would like to have power point presentations.!

! Mark Neufel, NewMedia Director for the Arizona Republican Party! !

Mark is graduating from ASU in December. He was the ASU student body president, though he really didnt want to run. ASU is liberal with many Democrats, who are not often challenged. He grew up in Tempe. He had 30 students on his staff. But adults were running the student association. He discovered the adults had been funneling money into political issues. They threatened him with legal action. So he resigned. He took 30 students to the Board of Regents. The adults only cared about their jobs. Policy changed so that no non-prot groups could be on campus. He discovered a small group can make a big difference. !

He advises us to reach out to the younger generation via social media. He is happy to help us, though he cant take sides. !

! His email address is mark.naufel@azgop.org.! ! ! Why is he running?! !

Andrew Thomas, candidate for governor. ! He considers himself the tea party candidate. !

Tea Party leaders encourage him to run. Our government is broken. There is a crisis of faith in Republican leadership in Arizona. How would he x it? Hes independent, activist and conservatist. Less than a year ago, our governor signed the Medicare Expansion plan. He wrote the resolution, the ballet initiative to put the issue on the ballot for the voters to decide. Many of us worked hard to get the necessary number of signatures. ! The borders are broken. He was elected two times as Maricopa County Attorney. 2005-2010. He and Russell Pearce passed laws that were nationals models for other states. During those days we were winning the battles.!

! ! !

Broken gavels! We have to deal with activist judges. ! Broken dreams! higher education is a big scam. It works for banks. He says we can be like other states where you can get a college diploma for $10,000 ! Broken Promises! Its a shame Republican leaders haves broken promises on key issues. He is a proven conservative and a ghter. He has a 20 year record of conservatism. He is an author. ! We need to change things around swiftly. Its hard to elect conservatives. His simple deal: ght for him and hell ght for you. !

! We need a rewall of resistance to the federal government. ! ! !
