State of the Lodge
Brothers of the Lodge,

I hope this newsletter finds everyone well and having a nice fall! We had a successful Cocktail Party in honor of Paul Bruxelles Beta Delta 80 at the Lodge after the Georgetown game. I would like a chance to personally thank Mark Yeager for arranging the event. It was a great opportunity for everyone to meet and get to know each other. I would like to thank all who were able to attend and I hope we can have even more Alumni and Parents at the next one. As th most of you know by now the 149 Lehigh/ Lafayette football rd game is being played on November 23 at Goodman Stadium. If you are planning on attending and you have not gotten tickets yet I would recommend doing that ASAP. After the game there will not be a formal cocktail party, but all are welcome to meet the Brothers and to hang out at the Lodge. Also, if you are interested in receiving a parking pass and Hill access please contact me. We are currently trying to welcome a few new gentlemen into the Lodge and I want to thank Peter Bernstein for being the Fall New Member Educator. The process is about to begin shortly if everything is approved by the University. The Brothers have been involved with a few events during October like Spooktacular and Snack Packs for kids. Both of these events were benefits for the children of Bethlehem.

Undergraduate Spotlight: Isaiah Campbell

Brother Isaiah Campbell 15 has been an active and dedicated brother throughout his time here in Chi Psi. He is the current #3. At Cherry Hill East high school in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, he excelled in academics and football. At Lehigh, Isaiah is majoring in accounting with plans on staying a fifth year to become a CPA. He is very dedicated to his studies and to his commitment on the football field. Brother Campbell is a two year starter at

linebacker for the team. And his success on the field has gotten the team off to a 7-2 start. His highlight of the season was his game ending interception against Princeton University. We are very proud of Brother Campbell and the entire Lehigh Football team and hope for future success.

New Facebook Page Undergraduate News/ Upcoming Events November 23, 2013- Lehigh
Lafayette 149th Meeting at 12:30 PM.
There is a new Facebook page for parents and alumni. The Facebook page is replacing the old website because the local website is no longer available through Lehigh. The page will be a tool that is utilized for Lodge updates, pictures from events and news for upcoming events. The Facebook page includes information about accreditation and how stakeholders can help active Brothers in different Lodge events. Any Alumni or parent can post pictures or comment as they want. New Twitter Account

There will be a new Twitter account for all stakeholders involved with Chi Psi going live in the coming weeks. The twitter account will be a great way for alumni and parents to receive immediate update about Chi Psi. The account will also post reminders about upcoming events that are discussed in the Monthly Newsletter.

P&E Account
The P&E account is a valuable asset to the current undergraduate Brothers. It allows us to use funds to partake in intellectual activities that will enhance the Chi Psi experience. The P&E account can be accessed at mylehigh.lehigh.edu/fraternity. We encourage alumni to continue to donate to the P&E account so we are able to have events in the future and allow future Brothers to truly experience what it means to be a Chi Psi Gentleman.

Program for Excellence
The Program for Excellence served as the cornerstone of last years Mid-Year Leadership Retreat (MYLR). The Program for Excellence is a program that presents new ideas on how to improve sorority relations and improving what it means to be Chi Psi Gentlemen. It features ideas such as speed dating, pig picking, golf outing events etc. An online version of the Program for Excellence is available at: www.chipsi.org/programforexcellence.

Accreditation
For our efforts last year, we received a Bronze accreditation rating. Brothers believed we should have received a high rating but, are content that we were not kicked of the hill. This year we are striving to go above and beyond last years rating and improve on events that were put into place last year.

Scholarship
We will be hosting the second annual Scholarship award cocktail at the Lodge during the spring semester. Brothers will be awarded monetary prizes for Overall Highest GPA, Most improved GPA, Highest GPA in each college and Most improved GPA in each college. This is made possible by the P&E account at Lehigh. The P&E account can be accessed at mylehigh.lehigh.edu/fraternity. We encourage alumni to continue to donate to the P&E account so we are able to have more events like this and future Brothers can experience what it truly means to be a Chi Psi Gentleman.
