Revival

An urgent message to the church leaders!

By: Evangelist Ruth Beebe

I hear a lot of talk from Clergy these days about the need for a revival in the church. I also know that there are large groups of pastors who are getting together to pray for this revival every week. So my question is whats stopping you? Dont you think its time to stop talking the talk and start walking the walk? Correct me if I am wrong but isnt the job of the church leaders to bring people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and to tend to the needs of the congregation? Do you not see a great need here?

Most of us agree that we are in the end days and that time is short. Most church leaders see a growing need within the body of Christ yet are doing precious little to meet that need! You can sit down in nearly any church in the USA and watch Satan walk right through the door and make himself at home! Yet precious little is being done to address this problem! What is wrong with this picture? Of course many of us are alarmed over the trend that we are watching. We have recently watched many church leaders buckle under government pressure and compromise the principals of their faith. If the church leaders cannot withstand a little bit of pressure while things are relatively easy then what will happen when things really get bad? I think that few people can deny that the world is definitely headed in that direction! There is persecution on a major scale coming to the US and the rest of free world for Judeo Christians, the signs are everywhere if you will just open your eyes and look! If people cannot trust the church leaders to stand strong for their faith when things start getting tough then what hope is there for those following that leadership? Church leaders, if you really, truly want to begin a revival then it has to begin with the person who you see in the mirror every morning! It is time to take a good hard look at your beliefs and your values!

Are you someone who can stand up and begin a revival? Is your faith strong enough to withstand the opposition that will certainly rise up against you? It is time for the rubber to meet the road, time for action! As the persecution of Christianity grows the church of Laodicea becomes more and more apparent. It is time to examine your faith and decide what it is that you really believe! Do you really believe what Jesus said or is it all for show? Will you compromise your faith, your Christian values because the world tells you to? Recently we saw many pastors and clergy fold on the homo sexuality issue, how long before we have to allow Paganism and idolatry into our churches a well? I am sure that these clergy were threatened with the loss of their jobs, 501Cs and who knows what. I am equally sure that most of these people reasoned this sell out away by telling themselves that they cant serve their flock if they have no flock, but the truth is that they sold their flock out to the world! They didnt just make this decision for themselves; they made this decision for their entire congregation because if leadership sells out then the entire church has been sold out! If you, as church leaders cannot see this truth then perhaps it is time to look for another profession! Jesus never said it would be easy!

I have been in several churches in the last few years and have seen nearly every kind of un-Christian like behavior imaginable! And this doesnt even include book stores! In one Baptist church that we visited twice, only one person in the entire congregation even bothered to say hello, and the pastor never so much as acknowledged us! In other churches (including this one) we have witnessed a judgmental attitude toward others, gossip, inhospitality, greed, cruelty, legalism to the point of exclusion, lust, fear and even contempt! I have watched Satanic T shirts come through the door, gods and goddesses come through the door on peoples clothing and the people wearing this clothing is for the most part completely unaware of just what they are wearing, its just fashionable! There are people who read their horoscope in the morning before coming to church! Children talk about the latest Harry Potter book or vampire flick some of these children are even casting spells! And I have news for you, there is no such thing as make believe where God is concerned! Jesus said if a man commits adultery in his heart he is guilty, therefore if you commit adultery with other gods via witchcraft and sorcery are you not guilty of idolatry? People who allow their children to cast spells and pretend sorcery are setting them up for judgment and destruction! Yet no one speaks out against this, including and especially the church leaders! As followers of Jesus Christ we are supposed to be set apart or different. We are supposed to reflect Christ not the world! Yet it seems that most Christians today want to live in both, otherwise known as riding the fence! This is not what true Christianity is all

about! You cannot do both and belong to Christ! Do you church leaders not know this? I realize that many church leaders these days are afraid that if they speak out against these things that they will lose their congregation that people will fall away and you know what? Some will! And that is ok! Everyone must choose for themselves what they believe, no exceptions! However, I believe that you will also find that if you drive the evil out of your church and teach truth and only truth that your church will grow! People are hungry for truth and it is such a hard thing to find these days! If you are allowing evil and deception into your church for fear of empty seats you are in fact driving away the people who are earnestly seeking God, seeking the truth! If you claim to be a church of God then be a church of God, not a den of vipers and liars! Tell the truth! You are not being a Good Christian or a good leader by allowing people to believe a lie! You are in fact setting them up for destruction! Church leaders it is time to decide! Its time to make up your mind as to which side of the fence you are on! Do you serve the world or do you serve God? I can absolutely guarantee that the road ahead will not be easy, things will get worse, will you take up your cross? The last point I want to discuss here is the idiosyncrasies of church doctrine! I truly believe that this fight over who is right and who is wrong where the fine points of doctrine are concerned is one of the greatest weapons that Satan has in his arsenal! Will you continue to allow him to use it?

I have news for you; there are no Baptists in heaven, or Pentecostals, or Protestants, or Adventists, nor Messianic, etc. There are just believers, just disciples and your denomination doesnt matter anymore. So why the big fight now? Dont you think that maybe, just maybe it is far more important to do Gods work and bring people to the truth of Jesus and to purify the bride of Christ so that she can be found without blemish when Jesus returns than to fight over differences in doctrine? I am also acutely aware of many pastors and church leaders these days that seem to be overly possessive of their flock; they are scared to death that someone might steal members of their congregation away, some even go so far as to threaten their church members with various threats if they leave the church. This is un-Christian and positively ludicrous behavior! Do your job! Tell the truth and trust God! If you want your church to grow then be an example of Gods grace, truth and love and stop worrying about everything else! If you are worried about losing your congregation then you are doing something wrong! Purify yourself to God, circumcise your heart and purify your motives so that you can be found blameless and worthy in the sight of God! Then you can tend to the needs of your congregation! They need you to be a leader who will train them to be disciples, who will train them to be workers in Gods vineyards not just a figurehead or voice!

YOU are responsible, not only for bringing people to Christ but also for instructing and training them to follow your example!!! The church of Jesus Christ was NEVER intended to be what it is today, it was intended to spread out and grow! Not to remain in one place and stagnate! How can your followers create fruit of their own if they are never allowed to seek out a place to grow? Maybe they will bring people to you or maybe they will branch out, either way you are growing the body of Christ. This is the goal of Christianity! Rejoice! Introduce people to Jesus, help them to find salvation, train them to read and study the Bible and then let them decide for themselves which church best coincides with what the Bible says, train them to think for themselves! Train them to trust the truth and trust God to meet your needs as well as the needs of the disciples you are creating in Christ! If you are fearful then you are not trusting in God or in his word. I learned this lesson the hard way if you have not yet had this experience then submit yourself to Jesus, allow him to send you into the wilderness to hone and refine you, it will be difficult and at times even painful but you will emerge from it with stronger faith and a much greater trust in God and his word. Will you submit to Gods authority and trust in what he wants for you? If you are of like mind, if you are willing to step up, to be bold and courageous, to stand up and be counted as a true follower of Christ, to set aside yourself and your ego, to hold yourself accountable to God and his children and do everything in your power to set the world on fire for the love and saving grace of our lord and savior Jesus Christ then join us and lets start a revival that will rock the world!

Matthew 10:34-40 Do not think that I have come to send peace upon the earth: I have not come to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man at variance with his father, and the daughter with her mother, and the daughter-in-law with her mother-in-law; 36 and they of his household shall be a mans enemies. 37 He who loves father or mother above me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter above me is not worthy of me. 38 And he who does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me. 39 He that finds his life shall lose it, and he who has lost his life for my sake shall find it. 40 He that receives you receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me.
