Every time the word future comes into my mind, I cant seem to stop thinking about it every time I hear it. I always asked myself, Is it possible? Is it possible to have a bright future considering the horrible things done by humans on Earth? !he Earth is suffering a lot due to our doings. "ue to us, humans# $e are damaging the Earth without knowing what will happen. If we do not care for the world, the Earth will surely collapse and there will never be a bright future for us, nor will it e%ist. !he change in the world is not surprising news for me. I live in the country, &alaysia which is well'known for its economy and natural resources. (ears before I was born, my country had been con)uered by *ortugal, +ritish and the ,apanese. !he people who lived before me had to go through horrible things. $e -!he &alaysians. also e%perienced war and life'death situations throughout the years. /ur country suffered for many decades until it reached its independence in 0123. $e were then free from the grip of the colonialists. !he trees in our world are being dramatically reduced because of the e%cessive logging done by humans. $e cut down millions of trees a day 4ust to make papers, houses and other things that humans need to live. $hat will happen to the world if our trees keep reducing? !he forests will soon disappear if we do not take care of the forests 5 the source of our living needs. 6ir pollution is also famous in the world. $e pollute the environment every time a new factory is made. !he clean and refreshing air is now far from the air people inhaled years ago. !he to%ic chemicals and waste in the air are harmful to humans. It is also a threat to the atmosphere of the Earth. Even so, why are we still continuing this harmful activity knowing something bad will happen? If we love and care for the Earth, why are we not taking good care of the environment? It is our responsibility and if we dont take good care of it, who will? !he air is very important to us as we need it to live. $ithout the air, we will surely die. 7rimes are also being done by the humans. &any people are tarnishing their names by doing various crimes. 8ome known crimes are kidnapping innocent people, se%ually and physically assault on women, men, and children, murder, manslaughter, drug possession, blackmail and others. $hy are we doing this? $hy are we harming other people when we are supposed to set a good e%ample for the ne%t generation in the future? $hy are we, without humanity, doing these shameful crimes? 7rimes done by humans always appear on the news. I feel very sad for the victims who had to go through horrible conditions. Even some were traumati9ed and had to live with fear. !hey did not deserve to be harmed at all. 6nd I feel very disappointed for the criminals who did many crimes. !hey mistreated the victims and abused them without any respect for them. $here is the humanity in them? $hat happened to the peace in the world? !his is something I cannot seem to find the right answer.

&illions of people who live in *alestine, Indonesia, India, *akistan, Ira), Iran, and other countries suffer from lack of food, water, and daily needs. !hey will continue to live a hard life if nothing is done to help them. $e need to help them and change the condition their living in. *alestine, Ira), Iran, *akistan and some other countries are always involved in wars. !heir population is decreasing rapidly because of this. 8ome of their people who took part in the war got killed and could not return to their families. :ow do their family feel? $e never ask them this. !he world is changing very fast and if we do not give our help and assistance, we will continue to suffer. My dream is to have a world where the people are always living in peace, no matter where you go. Im sure it can happen if we work hard and never give up on our people and our life. I will continue to hope and pray that this day will come. !he world can be changed, and we are the only ones who can change it. If we dont, who will?
