Graphic Design: 1. Mention the softwares that you are proficient with. 2. Briefly explain the skill set you possess to be a value addition to the graphic design team. 3. Compile your portfolio for the interview 4. Try coming up with designs for Saarang t-shirt or a new Saarang logo. (It might just seal the deal) 5. What are your views about the font in this text? : I want to become a Saarang Graphic Design Coordinator Photography: 1. Mention the make and model of your camera. 2. Briefly describe your enthusiasm for photography in general. (In terms of experience, ideas, etc) 3. Compile your portfolio for the interview. Videography: 1. Do you have a video camera? If so, mention make and model. 2. Mention the softwares that you are proficient with. 3. Give a detailed outline of an idea for a general Saarang teaser (storyline based). 4. Make an appealing teaser using the given videos. (The necessary videos can be collected from the cores) Ambience: 1. Give ideas for ambience projects that can be attempted this Saarang. 2. We are planning to have the Saarang ambience centred on a theme. The theme should be such that people identify it easily. Propose a theme and clearly state how it can be implemented at different Saarang zones.

Relevant Information
Graphic Design: There will be 2 fundae sessions by ex-cores before application submission. Photoshop knowledge is important. But apply even if you dont know. Being a coordinator itself is a good learning experience. Start preparing a portfolio for the interview. If you dont even know the basics of Photoshop yet, it is essential for you to come up with lots of ideas for t-shirts, pamphlets, posters, etc.

Photography: Digicams are strictly not accepted. Prepare your portfolio for the interview. Videography: Video editing (After Effects) skills are essential. The necessary videos can be collected from the cores or can be downloaded from LAN under the folder Saarang 2013 Videography Coord Selection. Use the given videos to make a 2min-3min teaser. Impress us. Possession of a good video camera will be a big plus. Ambience: Come up only with feasible ideas. You will be required to do a feasibility analysis for 1 or 2 ideas for the interview. To apply for coordinator, it is not necessary that you should have been an ambience volunteer in Saarang 2012. Only you should have lots of enthusiasm.
