What parents can do to help
Ensure your child is always well equipped for school e.g. having their reading book and PE
kits in school on the correct days.
Ensure that your child is always on time and has a good start to the day.
Read regularly with your child. This can be bedtime stories and visits to the local library as
well as school reading books.
Support your child with their weekly home learning tasks and spellings.
Support school activities. This year there will be numerous events in school when we
would like to invite you into school to share learning experiences with your child.
Most importantly get out and about with your child exploring and having fun.
If you have a question for us
Where possible please arrange to speak to the teacher after school. Obviously if it is an urgent
matter if you come to the school office we will try and make ourselves available as soon as
possible. Please dont hesitate to ask if you have any query or concerns.
