    This was the last weekend AFD has extra help on duty until the start of the next semester in late January, meaning only three ambulances can be staffed. On at least two occasions ETOH (drunk) runs tied up two ambulances simultaneously. Amherst (and Hadley, Leverett, Pelham, Shutesbury residents) need to keep their fingers crossed for the next two months.
