In chess, the object of the game is to trap your
opponents king. Chess is a very deep game, one
with a high degree of strategy involved, but can still
be enjoyed by anyone. Chess is said to have its
beginnings in ancient India in a game called
chatrang, and to have spread into Europe about
1000 years ago. Chess is extremely popular today,
and there are even world chess championships.
