1) What sparked your interest in computer science?

How did this lead you to major in computer science and what do you hope to accomplish with your degree? In your answer, please describe how your experiences have influenced the goals you have for yourself.

My parents are computer software engineers. My mom and dad both work for nic department(National Informatic Centre) Since my childhood I have always seen them working with lots of interest and hard work.i have seen their growth in this field. So all this has influenced me a lot to choose my career in computer science and sparked a keen interest in computer science. After accomplishing my degree I would love to go in website designing (computer graphics).I am passionate about designing and I would love to make my career in it. In my younger age (secondary schooling) I did various designing course like photo shop,coral draw animation softwares such as flah,website designing softwares like dream weaver. I helped my mom and dad in designing official websites. Presently Im a second year Btech-computer science student (persuing technical subjects : mathematics, data structure,Digital and analog and languages : OOPs). Im studying in Mody Institute of Tecnology and Science in lakshmangarh, Rajasthan and persuing my studies in computer science have boosted me up to become a good website designer in future.
2) Please give us 1-2 examples of how you have exhibited leadership. Explain how you were influential and what you were trying to achieve. These need not be demonstrated through formal or traditional leadership roles. Think broadly and examine the many ways you are having an effect on the members of your technical community, your university, or your broader community.

When I was in my first year I was given a responsibility to manage the android workshop (conducted by a company in jaipur) in our college techfest . firstly I was suppose to publisise this workshop giving details about android and secondaly to influence as many students as possible to attend this workshop Finally on the day of event I got an appreciable response from students. 150 students registered for the workshop an it was a successful event. I got the words of appreciation from my seniors and teachers for excellent management of the workshop. And apart from these technical things Iv also leaded a dance group. Im a very good dancer and in my school time Iv choreographed many dances for various scool functions Presently Im also a member of my college dance team hippy chicks.
3) Please describe the most significant computer science project or research you have worked on, how you approached key technical challenges, and what you gained from the experience. It might have been a class assignment, a research project, or other work or volunteer experience. If the project was teambased, specify your individual role and contributions in the project.

Im just 19 years old so never got a chance to be a part of big technical project.But yes Iv worked on technical things as my class assignments. In my C, C++, Data structure I did come across various technical challenges on a students level

Dealing with link list programs was a challenge for me,but still not exactly a project..Im a student and this is my learning phase.I try to learn and grasp knowledge from wherever I could get. Through all my future years of technical learning I would love to learn and gain as much knowledge as possible. Whenever in my future I will get a project or challenge I will work on it with all my efforts and knowledge.
