In some centres, students are exposed to a variety of religious philosophies as well as communal prayer, with an aim to establish harmony between otherwise conflicting belief systems. This is a particularly sensitive issue in South-East Asia due to the extensive diversity of belief systems and historical inter-religious conflict. It is not necessary that interns or volunteers participate in religious activities, however any proselytising, anti-religious behavior or remarks, which may be considered harmful, hurtful to others and/or negatively affects students or the SOLS 24/7 team will not be tolerated.
