Questions for Reflection at Mid-term

1. Concerning my attendance, class participation, and discussion posting, what is my general overall impression/feeling about my learning in this class up to this point? I feel great about what I learning in Class. I have never learned the Old Testament the way you are showing. I learning how to break down the Scriptures and understanding what is the history and the wording on the word of God. Have I participated fully? Yes I have because I had done my class work and my group work. Intentionally? Yes by asking for extra credit on the assignment such as King David reading and how he is on the King of Spade on the deck of cards. What have I done well?

How to read my bible on a daily bases and not open the bible up anywhere to read. 2. What have I learned through the Scripture Analysis Journal project that will help me interpret the Bible in the future? Isaiah is broke down in three parts. Isaiah is a later prophet and scholars that it wrote by second Isaiah. I am starting to understand why it was written. The part I am in it is call The Lord is master of Creation. In what ways have I been challenged to think differently about the Bible and about God? Yes I have been challenged because I did you how to broke down the word to get the full meaning of what I read 3. What have I learned about God?

God is the creator, loving, caring, forgiving, jealous, complex, and present What have I learned about people? People have choices life and some time we make the wrong one with God help on it. People have a choice on repenting to God for what they have done. What have I learned about the relationship between God and people? We do go the opposite of what God is showing us. We think God is doing what we want right then and now. 4. How comfortable am I now when asked to look critically at a passage of scripture? I am ok on looking scripture up. Sometime I have a hard understanding what I am looking at. Do I feel competent to interpret the passage in light of historical, textual, and contextual issues?

I starting to get the understanding of what it say, but still need room to learn more. What do I think will help me in this area? I need help with the meanings, contextual and textual. 5. How do I approach a scripture passage differently now than at the beginning of the semester? I would open my bible and that was I read that day. The scripture that I got from class and now Im trying to read the scripture passage right. What do I want out of the rest of the semester? I would like to learn more about the contextual, textual and history of the bible. What grade do I intend to make, and what do I need to do to achieve my goal? I would like an A in class. I do all my work in and out of class. I would love to do more extra credit please.
