com/pub/john-firth/86/292/aa7/ Personal Profile In the last two or three years, Ive become proficient in basic computer networking, gaining qualifications from Cisco and CompTIA. From these courses I have developed skills in hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, designing and building basic wired and wireless networks, Access databases, advanced Excel spreadsheets, IP addressing and writing formal reports. Due to these qualifications, I am ready to start work with minimal training; something I feel would be a benefit. Following on from these qualifications, I was pursuing a part-time degree in Networking, but had to drop out after the first year due to a lack of funding. Im eager to get back on either this course or a similar one, in order to continue learning networking, especially server-side roles. Key skills:
Excellent communication skills in both writing and speech Proficient with Microsoft Office packages, especially Word and Excel Installing hardware and software Troubleshooting Designing and building basic networks, both wired and wireless IP addressing
Contacting both businesses and residences on behalf of a variety of companies. Having excellent written communication skills to take notes of comments as they were given, needing to be both accurate and legible. My role also involved training new members of staff and training as relief accounts assistant, using MS Excel. Northumbria University Student Halls Assistant
