The sin that dwells in and of our flesh will ha&e us to belie&e#e&en using our own mind and flesh to condemn us in our spirit of our sin nature, and our inability to comprehend that we are indeed in Christ and the flesh is dead but the weakness and ability to still commit sin e&en in our present state as born again, Bible belie&ing, e&angelical Christians is still present. *e desire not to sin but our flesh is weak in that it cannot keep the flesh in check and control our sinful desires e&en though we walk as repentant sinners, and ha&e recei&ed Christ we wrestle with sin within our &ery nature. *e lo&e the law of +od but the law could not keep us from sinning we ha&e this battle going on inside us warring against the law of our mind and the law of our members wanting to bring us into capti&ity to the law of sin and we feel condemned knowing that we feel that there is always this e&il that is present and we are helpless to deal with it. But thanks be to +od for sending our ,a&ior Jesus Christ who condemned sin in the flesh and who -aul tells us this. /0There is1 therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,2304omans 567 89J:1 -araphrasing -aul here. who will deli&er us from this body of death) *e may feel condemned and ha&e this insistent battle in the sin members that war against the law of +od. But thanks to +od through Jesus Christ our Lord that with our mind we ser&e the law of +od and we are washed and cleansed of this, but in this with our flesh we ser&e the law of sin. Thank you Lord Jesus that because of ;ou paying for our sins we are not condemned because of this wretched flesh that is always and has always been on a path to condemn us in that we are not able to keep the law and also as we struggle daily not being able to keep the law of our mind. ;et knowing there is not anything we could do to take away that condemnation to make us righteous. But you did indeed take that condemnation away from us and because of ;ou and through ;ou we are no longer condemned because we are in ;ou and ;ou are in us and we are no longer in the law but in Christ.
