Subject: Baltimore Field Division Time line Questions

All questions, and notations, unless otherwise noted are from the PENTTBOM timberline
of 07/21/2003. The FBI file number is 265A-NY-280350.

1. Time line entry for 08/09/2001, at Bate stamp 236 notes that Moqed withdraws money
from an ATM in Laurel, Maryland. Have Moqed and Hanjour moved to Prince George's County,
Maryland from northern Virginia? Where are they staying? (College Park Motel?)

2. Time line entry for 08/11/2001, at Bate stamp 238 refers to a video surveillance of
Hanjour and Moqed at a Kinko's in College Park. May we have a copy of the videotape? The
Time line also refers to a telephone call by Moqed. Can the telephone call be associated with any
known calling card? On the same date, at Bate stamp 239, there is reference to a calling card used
at the College Park Motel. Is the same card used at Kinko's, and if so, who was called from this
location?

3. Time line entry for 08/17/2001, at Bate stamp 246, Hanjour takes flight lessons at
Freeway Airport, Bowie, Maryland. Were the two flight instructors interviewed about where
they flew, for example near the Pentagon or CIA Headquarters, during the lessons? Was Hanjour
interested in any particular topography?

'4. Time line entry for 08/18/2001, at Bate stamp 247, Hanjour uses the address 10131
Washington Blvd., Laurel, MD, and telephone number 301-732-5552, when renting a box at
Mailboxes Etc. Is this the Valencia Motel? When did Hanjour stay at this motel? Later entries
in the Time line have him checking into the Valencia Motel on 08/23/2001.

5. Time line entry for 08/18/2001, at Bate stamp 248, Moqed checks into the Turf Motel at
9822 Washington Blvd., Laurel, MD, as a party of two. Is Hanjour the second person?

6. Time line entry for 08/20/2001, at Bate stamp 250, Hanjour takes flight lessons at
Congressional Air Charter, in Gaithersburg. There is a very good interview of Eddy Shalev, the
flight instructor (serial 302-17110). Two other individuals accompany Hanjour to the air charter
service. Was it determined who were these two unknown males?

7. Is the redacted portions at the top the page Bate stamp 252 from the Baltimore Field
Division? If not, which division?
8. Time line entry for 08/23/200, at Bate stamp 255, there is the address 14625 Baltimore
Avenue. What is this address?

9. Time line entry for 08/25/2001, at Bate stamp 257, Moqed books tickets for himself and
Khalid al-Mihdhar on AA Flight 77. Moqed lists an address of 4423 Lehigh Road, College Park,
MD. What is this address? A. Yahoo.com server account is used. Where was the actual
computer terminal utilized by the hijackers for this transaction? (Kinko's? videotape?)

10. Time line entry for 08/27/2001, at Bate stamp 260, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Salem al-Hazmi
utilize a computer terminal at Kinko's, Laurel, MD, to book their Flight 77 tickets. Since the
transaction occurred at Kinko's, is there a videotape of the activity? (see question #2)

11. Time line entry for 08/27/2001, at Bate stamp 261, is an entry that states that Nawaf al-
Hazmi and Salem al-Hazmi checked the status of their reservations from a terminal at William
Paterson College, Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. Since this is a three hour drive from Laurel,
MD, is it likely that one al-Hazmi was in Maryland and the other in northern New Jersey?

12. Time line entry for 08/27/2001, at Bate stamp 262, shows that Mohammed Atta checked
his voice mail, through a cell tower described as "Wash/Bait Switch." Was Atta in the Maryland/
DC area? How did he get there, and where did he stay?

13. Time line entry for 08/27/2001, at Bate stamp 263, has an entry that states in part,"
Jarrah, Atta and al-Omari 'attempt' to purchase box cutters from the Dollar House Store, Laurel,
MD. What is meant by the term "attempt.?" What is the serial that supports this assertion? How
did these three travel to Maryland, and where did they stay?

stays at the "Pin-Del" Motel. Where is this motel?

of 14800 Fourth Street, Laurel, MD. What is this address?

cash transfers at the Western Union office in Laurel, MD. If known, where was he staying?

Hanjour, Moqed, and an unknown mid-eastern male with a Pennsylvania driver's license. Has
the unknown male been identified?

she been interviewed?

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
