Newman English 101: Rhetoric 16 September 2013 Statement of Scope for Annotated Bibliography La migra or immigration is a group that strikes fear in the hearts of all illegal immigrants. Recently stricter regulations have been passed down by the government, and even states, about immigration because many Americans wrongfully blame immigrants for the economic turmoil and lack of jobs. Even though, immigration is beneficial to our countries economy; millions of Americans complain that immigrants are taking jobs from them, but Americans aren't attempting to work the jobs the immigrants are taking because they are poor paying and physically destructive. This essay will explore illegal immigrant labor. Many Americans blame immigrants for the lack of jobs in America. This is quite the opposite. I will explore how immigrant labor benefits the economy. Since its cheaper to use illegal immigrants they save Americans money on many things in the economy. This lower wage discourages many Americans. I will continue by discussing how detrimental most of the migrant jobs are. I will finish by speaking to the fact that there arent many Americans working in these jobs.
