Dear Friends, All of my adult life, I have wanted to make a difference in other peoples lives, and especially in helping

children. Well, a tremendous opportunity has come my way, and I feel that God is calling me to it. My home church is participating in an outreach that will travel to Atenas, Costa Rica. Eleven of us will leave on March 29, 2014 and return April 5,2014. We will be serving at a childrens transitional home there called Hogar De Vida which means Home of Life. The children in this home are newborn to 8 years old; many of them have been abandoned, while others have been placed there for safety reasons. My heart is to do whatever little thing I can to make the lives of those at Hogar de Vida a bit better. God has given each person on this mission trip unique abilities to help Hogar de Vida, and we plan on using those abilities together to help a place that is a premier example of Gods love at work. The purpose of our trip is to: bring stability to the technology on their site, to better connect the buildings together for communication, to make sure their information is safe and to improve the security of the site to help the Tias (the aunties that care for the children) have resources to help ensure the security of the homes. We also have been asked to seek supporters who will help make this trip possible. I appreciate our relationship and would like to ask you to become an important part of my support team.
